Just a little love

Chapter 23

Alaskas pov

I get up and step into my bathroom. The whole interior is black, aside from my floor mats and my shower curtains which are a metallic silver.

I turn the shower on and then slowly stripped out of my clothing. I look into my mirror. My cheeks were puffy and I had redness under my eyes from wiping them all night.

Honestly I look like shit.

I take my hair down and watch it fall around my face then over my shoulders and down my back. The ombré I had done before I moved to Australia slowly fading to one color.

I slowly step into the shower and let the warm water take over my body. My muscles slowly relax from the tension that I didn't know they were holding.

I grab my Pureology shampoo and conditioner set and began to wash my hair. Honestly my shampoo and conditioner are so unbelievably expensive. I don't need 30$ shampoo and conditioner. But no, my mom just has to buy me these.

I put my conditioner in my hair and wash my body. The smell of  coconut fills my nose. Rinse off then grab my razor and shave the small amount of hair from my legs.

I rinse my hair and turn off the water. I grab my towel and wrap it around my body then grab one for my hair. I wrap my hair up then step out of my shower and onto the mat.

I make my way to my closet and picked out my black sweatpants and then a black tank top that had holes around the waist that I had put there to piss my mom off. Boy did it work. Got me grounded for a week but it was worth it.

I walked back into my bathroom and washed my face. I hate doing it in the shower because I can't rinse my face with warm water so I'd have to turn it cold. The rest of my body doesn't like that.

I dry off my face and then go into my room where a tired looking Sam is, sitting on my bed.

This is gonna be interesting.

"Laska can we talk?" He asks looking at me.

"I...um sure" I say and sit down next to him.

"I'm sorry that I didn't tell you sooner about all of this. I just didn't know how and now that my life is...um coming to you know a end and I didn't want someone else to tell you after I was gone."

"Why is this happening to you? You raised me Sam. You have always been there when no one was. I can't lose you!" I say tears coming to my eyes.

"Laska you will never lose me." He says wrapping his arm around me.

"You're dying!" I shout and start crying harder then I thought I could. "Please just-just go Sam."

"Try and understand Laska."

"Understand what Sam. You had years to tell me and I'm just now hearing about it! You're like my big brother and you have been lying to me! J-just go away and stop hurting me!" I shout tears streaming down my face.

He got up and walks out of my room.
