Just a little love

Chapter 16

I made my way over to him and he smiles over at me.

"Wow" he says as I stop right in front of him.

"Nothing you just look amazing" he says and takes my hands as I laugh a little.

"I look no different now then I do every other day" I say looking at him.

"I know. You look amazing every day" he says and chuckles slightly.

I blush a bit and look down slightly. "Okay so where are we going?" I ask looking at him.

"You will see." He says and smirks slightly.

We move from the position and he opens the passenger side door and guides me in then closes the door. He then goes and gets in himself and takes my hand again. I smile and look over at him.

"Looks like your quite the gentleman this evening" I say and chuckle softly.

"Women deserve nothing less then gentlemen" he says and smiles.

He turns his car on and starts out of my drive way. "And we are off" he says.

We drive for about 30 minutes until we reach a cliff side against the Great Barrier Reef. The sun was setting in colors of gold and blue.

He parked the car and got out and came to my door opening and helping me out. I smile and looks around at at the view.

"It's beautiful" I say in awe.

"Yeah but I can name someone who trumps it's beauty" he says wrapping his arms around my waist.

I smile and look at him. "You are so cheesy" I say and he chuckles.

"Yeah. A little." He says. "You watch the sunset while I set up okay?" He says.

"Set up what?" I ask looking at him.

"Our picnic of course. The sunset only lasts for so long and a picnic in the moon light on the edge of The Great Barrier Reef is great." He says.

"Sounds lovely" I say smiling.

He gets the picnic ready and we prodded to eat the pizza that was in the picnic basket. We lauded under the stars talking for hours and ended up cuddling on the picnic blanket.

As it got farther into the night, around 3 am I started to get tired. I tried to fight it but I couldn't. Luke and I got back in the car and he started driving back to my house.

Since there were no cars on the road the drive was only ten minutes. When we got there he helped me out of the car and walked me to the door.

"I had a great night Luke." I say smiling up at him.

"So did I Alaska. Probably the best night in a very long time." He says smiling back at him.

"Thank you" I say in s whisper so only he could hear.

"For what?" He asks.

"For giving me my first proper date. No flashing cameras. No journalists trying to interview me. No publicity involved. Just you, a delicious pizza ,and a fantastic view" I say.

He doesn't say anything just slowly attaches his lips to mine and I graciously welcome them. The coolness of his lip ring adding to his soft lips and giving me the best kiss I had ever had.
