Naomi put her stuff above on top of the shelves in the capartment she was in. No one was in there, they had been early to the train this time. Draco had gone to a different compartment not wanting to sit with Naomi. This summer they had gone back to normal. Draco was nice and took care of Naomi, while she was kind but didn't pay much attention to what was going on. She knew once they got to Hogwarts Draco would be the same as last year. She was hoping for more of a normal year. Last year it was only her first and Harry Potter and his friends had saved Ginny Weasley (her first friend) from dying in the Chamber of Secrets.

After about five minutes of sitting alone she heard her compartment door open. To no one's surprise it was Fiona and Damon. She had secretly hoped Ginny, Fred, and George had gotten to her first before they did but they didn't. "Hey guys." Naomi told her friends who were now sitting down across from her.

"Hey, how was staying in your house for the whole summer?" Fiona told Damon and Naomi. She had gone to the US over summer. She wrote to both of them while she was there telling them how everyone's accent is so different and they drive on the right side of the road instead of left.

"Like always, my dad always complaining about something. It was even worse this year because Potter lost our house-elf Dobby. Potter gave him a sock." Naomi explained to them.

They were talking about their summer for about an hour before the train seemed like it was coming to a stop. "I'll check it out." Damon said. He got up to open the compartment. He poked his out then all of a sudden he fell back into his seat bumping into Fiona. She pushed him off and grunted. "That was weird. Everyone else was also looking out their compartments." But when he spoke smoke came out of his mouth and he was shivering.

Naomi looked out the window and saw it was pitch black and the window seemed to be freezing. She wrapped her arms around herself. "It's so cold." She said. Fiona didn't seem to be as cold as she was. Neither did Damon. She felt like she was going pass out. She felt like all the happiness had been sucked out of her. But of course for her there wasn't much happiness.

"Here have my jacket. I'm not that cold." Damon said taking his off and handing it to Naomi. She thanked him and put it on. Not too long after everything seemed to be going back to normal Fiona spoke.

"What just happened?" Fiona asked. She seemed to be the one who got affected the least.

"I don't know. I'll go ask." Damon said getting up and leaving.

Fiona immediately started talking once he left. She was a fast talker and she was almost never not talking. "OMG!! Damon gave you his sweater. He so likes you." She said getting all giggly.

"No no no. He doesn't." Naomi said sternly. "He would've done the same for you."

Fiona hummed. "I don't think soooo." She told Naomi in a singing voice.

"It doesn't even matter because I don't feel the same. I'm not focused on boys we should be focused on school, we're barely in our 2nd year." She explained. Naomi wasn't lying she didn't feel that way about Damon. She didn't feel that way about anyone. She didn't even think about it.

"Mhmm sure, but if you do you should tell him, oh he's coming back." Fiona saw him walking towards the compartment.

"I don't, let's not talk about this." Naomi rolled her eyes making it very clear that she was annoyed.

Damon walked back into the compartment. "There was a huge line. They should've let us Slytherins go ask first since it seemed to be the closest to us." He sat down next to Fiona again. "Anyways, they said there was dementors on the train. What're dementors?" He asked seeing the surprised looks on his friends faces.
