It was evening, and warm rays of the sun were getting cold with every passing second, decorating the sky in its beautiful orange hue, while cold air started pacing up in the process of making the night colder.

It was already autumn, and the sound of rustling leaves in the backyard of Jeon Manor was providing some kind of soothing melody to Jimin's ears.

He snuggled more under the warm cashmere shawl on the rattan chair while taking hot sips from a steaming English tea cup, which he was holding with both of his hands to grasp the warmth of it.

His eyes darted to void in front of him the infinite view he witnessed from his balcony attached to his aloted room in the Jeon manor.

The hills far away look red because of the dry leaves on the trees, which are preparing themselves for the upcoming chilling, snowy winters in the country.

But Jimin's thoughts were running somewhere else; he was thinking about what was happening to him and why he had already submitted himself to the fate created by his own mother.

But he wasn't able to find any relevant answers to his own questions.

He again took a hot sip and blinked his eyes before again indulging himself in those thoughts.

Is he already accepting his fate, and now he just wants to distract himself from the things happening in the present?

He can't run away from it as he can't see his own mother harassing by those people who used to stand in front of their manor to ask to pay their money from her daily from the day his father passed away until the day they came to live in this manor, as every single thing was auctioned by the banks to cover the amount of debt, and they were left with only some clothes and jewellery.

Yes, he can't leave his mother like that to face the world alone, and if he had to submit himself in front of anyone, he would do that again and again without uttering a single word from his mouth.

He again took a sip of his hot tea before closing his eyes while lifting his chin up to feel the cold breeze on his face and letting the tears roll down from the corner of his eyes.

But is he not allowed to enjoy his life on his own terms and choose the person whom he wanted to marry and not someone who might be even older than his father? Maybe the answer to this question is already known.

No! He can't do that; he is not allowed to live his life on his own terms or choose someone for himself as well.

The cold air made his face blush and his button nose red, while the steam coming up from his hot cup of tea is starting to cool down slowly.

But the tears were still rolling, and just then a sentence from his father crept into his mind.

"My child, never lose hope in your life, and always stay strong no matter what, because you're my brave, lovely baby, who I know is the strongest of them all to face any difficulty in his life with a happy smile, and makes your father proud of you." Mr. Parks chuckled after stating this to Jimin, who was crying over a scratch on his knee, as he fell down in the garden while chasing squirrels and now thought that the wound would never heal and would leave a permanent scar on his skin, and his mother would scold him endlessly for it.

But the statement of his father made him look at his old face with wondering, moist sapphire-like eyes of his, with a little sob that was still releasing from his mouth.

"Re–really father? Am I a brave child of yours??"Baby Jimin asked with blinking eyes, still holding his knee, which has a wound, carefully.
