Jimin, feeling a heavy weight on his shoulders, slowly made his way to his room, signaling to Maria that he needed some alone time. The visit to have breakfast had taken a toll of him, and he longed for a quiet space to gather his thoughts. As he stepped into his room, a sense of daze clouded his mind. His mother's words echoed relentlessly, refusing to grant him even a moment to gather his emotions. The impact of her words lingered, creating a flood of inner turmoil within him.

"Leave you with your aching heart!"

"Only loves you because you're young and beautiful!"

Jimin moved through life like a puppet on strings, dancing to the script his mother had written for him. Every step, every action was carefully choreographed to align with her desires, a performance crafted to ensure her happiness and satisfaction. He found himself constrained by the expectations she had set, compelled to her vision of an ideal life.

The question echoed in his mind: Did he truly hold the power to break away and live his life on his own terms?

Jungkook-Lord Jeon Jungkook...

Is he really in love with him, or was what his mother told him true? What is real and what is fake? His mind was filled with so much turmoil that it became suffocating for him.

He wanted the tears to come out; he wanted to cry really hard, but he couldn't. The tears felt dried out from his eyes. He was feeling so exhausted that he couldn't even produce tears.

Jimin walked to his closet, took his white pointe shoes made of satin. They looked so beautiful, and these were the new ones he usually saved for performances. But today felt like a performance to him.

Driven by an inner yearning to express his own individuality, which had been stolen by his own mother, Jimin sought to perform not for the expectations imposed upon him but for his own vulnerability, sadness, and the loss of his own vision. The desire to break free from the puppet-like existence fueled his determination.

Despite the exhaustion that clung to his body, Jimin resisted succumbing to anything other than a performance to let his caged emotions fly through music and dance. The fatigue he was feeling was just a reminder of living as a mere puppet, following a script not of his own making but others.

As he tightly secured the pointe shoes around his ankles, Jimin stood to walk in a journey of self-expression through music. The chosen melody represented his true feelings deep within him. The dance became a representation of his struggle, a performance not for external eyes but a cathartic expression of his own inner battles. In those moments, Jimin felt to have control of his own life, using the dance as a canvas to depict the raw and genuine emotions within him.

He walked to the empty space of the room where he usually practices and took his position. Soon, loud music started coming out from the pedal horn of his phonograph, filling the entire room with the dramatic sound of orchestra, followed by a sweet melody. The song was sad, but the reality of his life was presented so purely in that music.

I've seen the world, done it all, had my cake now
Diamonds, brilliant, and Bel Air now
Hot summer nights, mid-July
When you and I were forever wild
The crazy days, city lights
The way you'd play with me like a child

The song reminded Jimin of the memory of Jungkook and him running through the lively crowd at the town's small festival, echoing with the joyous simplicity of that moment. Their carefree dance, wrapped in each other's arms, unfolded without a hint of worry or distraction. It was a celebration of connection, where laughter and giggles intertwined with the melodies of local musicians buzzing in the background.
