Chapter 30. Sad One.

"I want you to take care of Jimin in my absence, Yoongi. Father will come back from his meeting in a few days, but I'll return from Paris before him. This trip is really important for my and Jimin's secured future," Jungkook said, his finger tracing the rim of the glass of Bourbon on the table.

"Hmmm," Yoongi hummed in response, his focus was on tidying up the table which was piled with scattered papers. He avoided looking at Jungkook as much as possible, because he was unable to shake Jimin's smiling, gorgeous face from the back of his mind. Memories of the precious moments he spent seeing and talking to Jimin were freely kept replaying in his thoughts.

Jungkook looked at Yoongi, lost in his own thoughts, and took one more sip of his drink before speaking.

"Yoongi, if possible, I want you to keep visiting the manor in my absence to ensure that everything is going smoothly with Jimin. Also whenever you get a chance, try to have a conversation with him. Even if he doesn't open up to you, you can make-out what's happening by his aura. His mother is there, and she's not a nice lady. I don't want her to trouble Jimin in any way anymore," Jungkook said, his voice tinged with concern.

Yoongi's senses suddenly perked up upon hearing this. He didn't want to miss the chance to meet and talk with Jimin. A pleasant smile slowly came over his face, but he quickly gathered his thoughts to compose himself in front of Jungkook, not wanting to reveal what was going on in his mind. And he continued arranging the table silently.

"Please don't go, my lord," Jimin whined, clinging to Jungkook's chest with his arms wrapped around him. He tilted his head back slightly to gaze up at the alpha's handsome face.

"I have to leave, baby. It's for arranging our life after escaping from here. It's crucial; otherwise, my father will find us, and you can imagine what he'll do. So, we need to proceed cautiously." Jungkook explained. Jimin nodded in understanding, but he was still reluctant to let Jungkook leave. Tears welled up in the corners of his eyes, and with that he leaned in, he rested his head on Jungkook's sturdy chest, listening to his soothing heartbeat with closed eyes and tears started to roll down from the corners of his eyes, silently expressing his emotions as he held onto Jungkook tightly.

Seeing this, Jungkook's heart sank, and he gently pulled back to cup the omega's small, beautiful face between his big hands, wiping away the tears with his thumbs as he started speaking again.

"I promise I'll come back before Father, and we'll leave the place before he returns," Jungkook murmured those words while hovering his lips over Jimin's tinted, plump ones. He completed his promise with a hungry smooch on Jimin's lips, trying to convey his love and reassurance through the passionate kiss.

Unaware that Jae was returning from his trip a week earlier than expected.

Next morning....

Jungkook left for Paris early in the morning after spending the night with Jimin. He had to complete everything before Jae returned from his business trip, so he didn't wait and left as soon as the day began.

After seeing Jungkook off, Jimin freshened up and had breakfast with his mother. They didn't talk much and silently finished eating before going their separate ways to attend to their own tasks.

While Jimin's mother went to choose glamorous outfits for herself from the town market, Jimin stayed in his room and practiced playing the harp.

He was wearing a brown chiffon dress that clung to his beautiful body, The dress's multiple layers flowed with the wind, creating a beautiful sight as Jimin appeared  like a fish with numerous thin, wide fins surrounding him. The dress had a very low neckline, causing his mounds to peak out. It was another garment bought by his mother, seemingly wanting everyone to lust over her own omega son. For that, she could certainly go to any lengths.
