[Jihyo's POV]

Sitting through meetings with the board of directors was always a boring task. The long drive time from 'ParkCo.' to 'Twice Corp.' and having been so busy the previous week, made it all the more tiresome.

To Jihyo's relief, this business report didn't take as much time as it usually did. She left the room with a sigh, content with the day she had; until...

"Park Jihyo."

(Huh?) Jihyo stopped in the middle of the hallway and turned in the direction of the voice. There, stood a tall woman who was leaning on the door of a dark, empty, meeting room.

"Uhm, do you need something Miss.?" Jihyo asked her hesitantly.

The woman sighed and pushed herself off of the door. "You know, I'm starting to feel annoyed with all the questions you ask."

The woman slowly emerged from the shadows, revealing her face. "Come inside, I want to show you something, Jihyo", she ordered.

"Hirai Momo.? Uh.. listen, I don't know what you're talking about but I'm a busy person.. so goodbye." Jihyo quickened her pace down the hallway, but Momo was not going to let her go.

"Fine, I guess it doesn't matter if I know you slept at a hotel with one of your employees", she announces.

Jihyo froze in her tracks, scanning the people around her. Thankfully, a sudden building announcement had played over the sounds of Momo's voice and it seemed like no one else heard what was said.

Jihyo walked back to Momo, a bubbling confusion building up in her stomach. "You—what are you playing at? Where did you hear that rumour from? Huh?"

Jihyo stared daggers into Momo's eyes, but the latter kept a stern expression. "It's hardly a rumour, but do you want to talk about this in the middle of a busy hallway?"

It's true; the crowded hallway with many businesspeople constantly passing by, certainly wasn't the ideal place for a confrontation.

"Come inside" she beckoned, walking into the room and flicking on a light switch.

Unable to find any other options, Jihyo yielded her orders and followed Momo into the room.

.  .  .

Momo took a seat, while Jihyo watched her in silence. "Jihyo, sit", she commanded.

"Don't call me by my first name, and especially don't order me around", Jihyo retorted. "I'm here, so tell me where you heard that rumour from. Right now."

Momo sighed deeply. "You haven't changed since high school."

Jihyo rolled her eyes. (I didn't even speak to you, what the hell are you talking about?) she thought, still confused about Momo's intentions.
