28 - Your Idea of "Romance"

—In Front of Sana's Apartment Building— Sunday, September 8th, XX35, 9:00 AM, the next day
[Jihyo's POV]

Now without the weight of her company's future on Jihyo's shoulders, she was finally able to squeeze in a day to spend together with Sana. However, as she was planning a surprise date for Sana, Jihyo came to a sudden realization: though they were technically dating, she didn't know much about Sana.

If she was going to plan a real romantic date, she would need to learn some of Sana's preferences. That's why last night, she made a plan to learn as much as she could about Sana without rousing suspicion to surprise her with the most romantic date ever.

She arrived in front of Sana's apartment 10 minutes early, just so she could sit in the car and calm her nerves. Now, this wasn't an official date by any means— of course not, they were just going to go out and spend some time together by the beach. Still, it was the first time Sana and Jihyo would be spending alone time together since making their relationship official.

Suddenly, Jihyo's thoughts were interrupted by a knock on her window. She rolls her windows down expecting to greet Sana, but is instead greeted by a different face.

"Oh, uhm, hi," Jihyo says with a hand on her heart.

"Ah, sorry, did I scare you? I thought you saw me walking up to your window."

"No, I was just zoning out a bit... Sorry, did you need something, Momo? Why are you out here?"

"I live here...? Anyways, I uh, saw your car parked from our window. Sana's still getting ready so... I just came to let you know."

"Oh... wait, do you and Sana live together?"

"Yes. She hasn't told you before? I'm surprised she's never mentioned it."

I'm surprised too...

"Well, I'm gonna head back inside then. I'll let Sana know you're here."

"Thank you."

Momo backs away from the car and walks back into the building, leaving Jihyo with her thoughts as she waits for Sana's arrival.

How long have Momo and Sana lived together? Do they live with others too? Why hadn't Sana mentioned that she lived together with someone? Did she just not have a reason to bring it up?

It wasn't a big deal anymore, now that Momo had apologized for her actions... but Jihyo couldn't help but feel jealous. There was nothing wrong with her feeling that way, Sana was her girlfriend after all.

It's not like she could just stop Sana from living together with Momo. Though, if she could have it her way, she'd prefer to be the one living with Sana.

"Jihyo~! Sorry, did you wait long?"

"Oh, Sana! You're here."

Sana scurries over to the passenger side of the car, fumbling with the handle as she opens the door and plops onto the seat. "I didn't know you were here already, I didn't mean to make you wait."
