The criminals unloaded all the ammunition they had on hand into the interior of the compound. Tukk and Doss were barely safe thanks to the metal decorations they were hiding behind, but they couldn't wait there forever. They had to go out no matter what, and they had the perfect way for that.

A metallic sound caught the attention of one of the criminals, who saw with terror a metallic object hit the wall and fall a few steps from his position.

Criminal: - GRENADE! -

But it was too late. What looked like a detonator was emitting a terrifying beeping sound that was repeated over and over again, indicating that it was about to explode. But to the surprise of those who wanted to flee in terror, the explosion of the detonator only released a dense layer of smoke that limited vision to just a few centimeters from the face while its thickness caused uncontrollable coughing for those who were not wearing a helmet with an integrated respirator.

"Thermal vision, activated." The voice of a computer sounded in Doss's ear, while the visor of his helmet acquired a black and white color with shades of gray, marking living beings as enormous white spots that did their best to escape the smoke. The trap was set, and the hunter pounced on his prey like a tiger in the dead of night.

It was a shadow. Doss would sneak between enemies and strike them with his fists, letting the electrodes built into his gloves release powerful shocks to those unfortunate enough to experience his shocking fury. Those who did not fall to the volleys could only hear their companions scream in pain, while in the gloomy rumble of the hallways the sound of a leaf slid through the thickness of the smoke.

Doss was not alone, but the criminals would have liked him. Even more lethal than the medical clone, Tukk slithered through enemies like a pack of the Assassin's Creed, but unlike his companion, the blade of his cleaver knew no mercy when it came to taking the lives of his victims. By the time the smoke cleared, all that was left to see was a series of dead bodies and electrocuted bodies strewn about, as Tukk and Doss put away their weapons and deactivated their equipment.

Doss: - So many lives... And for what? -

Tukk: - Calm down, lieutenant. This is war. -

Doss: - It still doesn't make sense to me... I'm sorry... commander. -

Tukk: - It's what we are. This is what we were created for. Always remember it. -

Doss: - Yes... commander. -

Tukk: - Come on. We must get out of here before more come. -

The two clones made their way through the corridors of the place with blasters and fists. Doss took the lead, and did not hesitate to knock out any bandits and mercenaries who were within his reach, and those who were not so lucky were felled by Commander Tukk's deadly aim.

There was no one capable of stopping such a coordinated pair, and they were already reaching the exit when they saw the body of a mercenary fly from one hallway to another, only to watch with glee as General Pablo turned the corner ahead.

Bangs: - General. -

Pablo: - It seems like they didn't need my help. -

Tukk: - An extra hand never hurts. -

Ross: - What is that smell? It's worse than Blurrg poop. -

Pablo: - Better not ask. And the objective? -

Tukk: - I'm sorry to report that you escaped, sir. -

Pablo: - Bad luck. But we don't have time. We must return to the ship as soon as possible. To make matters worse I can't contact Roy. Where is that boy? -
