Chapter 6: La Vida Omega

"Someone said that La Vida Omega is a place of comfort. A couple from San Carlos had an argument after their honeymoon, until their anger leads them here. They said that this is a place where you could think properly, calm nerves, away from city, and away from the toxic society."

I stared at Kray. The light reflects the radiant of her hazel eyes. She has this serious expression that you wouldn't even imagine that she's capable of wearing, far from her bubbly and smiley being.

She looked at me. "Do you believe that nature is the door of your soul?" she asked.

Napatingin pa ako sakanya ng ilang segundo bago nilipat ang tingin sa dagat ng ulap.

"I don't believe such words." mahinang sambit ko. Nginitian naman ako nito bago muling sumimsim sa kape na hawak n'ya.

"They say, even if the world is full of chaos, nature is the constant thing that will remain peaceful. It has the ability to captivate the heart of those people who's in the middle of chaos, anger, devastation, stress, or any emotions available." she added. I really don't know why she's opening this kind of topic with me. Is something bothering her?

"Why did you brought me here." Instead of answering, she just stared at my eyes. Napatikhim ako bago nag iwas ng tingin dahil ewan ko ba, hindi ko kaya makipagtitigan ng matagal sakanya.

"I just think you would need this place." That made me confused even more. Naramdaman n'ya ata ang nakakunot na noo ko kaya naman nagsalita pa s'ya. "I could tell you've been having a hardtime lately for I don't know what your reason is, but the important thing is, at least i could be a help for just a small amount of time."

"As a friend." dali-daling n'yang dagdag dahil sa pananahimik ko habang sinisipat ang mga pinagsasabi n'ya. Nagtitigan pa kami ng ilang segundo bago n'ya ito binawi dahil sa pagdating ng maingay na grupo malayo sa amin.

Aalis na sana ito para sana umopo sa table sa gilid namin nang hawakan ko ang balikat nito na ikinalingon n'ya."I do apprecia-"

Parang na statuwa ata ako dahil sa boses na narinig ko. Dahan-dahan na lumingon ako sa pinanggalingan ng boses na 'yun.

"Hey Eli." mahinang sambit ni Arkray sa tabi ko habang tinitingnan ang babaeng hindi ko inaasahan na makita sa mga araw na to.

Okay na kasi lord eh! Ba't naman sumusulpot ang hindi dapat sumulpot!

Alam kong hindi rin ako ang nagulat pati narin s'ya base narin sa ekspresyon n'ya sa mukha nang magawi ang tingin n'ya sa'kin.

Tinaasan ako nito ng tingin bago n'ya tiningnan si Arkray na nagtataka ngayon.

"Wait, do you know each other?" naguguluhang tanong ni Arkray saming dalawa kaya naman napatango ako.

"She's my student." masungit na tugon nito na ani mo'y kaaway ang kaharap n'ya. Gosh, she's so unprofessional! Napaka childish n'ya!

"Really? That's great!" Masayang sambit nito habang nagpalipat-lipat ang tingin sa aming dalawa.

"Even though you already know her, Crev. I still want to introduce you to my step-sister, Amora Elixt."

Now that explains their surname, at isa pa kapatid ba talaga to ni Arkray? No wonder why. Hindi ko nga alam saan silang dalawa nag mana. I can't handle them very well. Yung isa naman once in a blue moon lang magseryoso habang yung isa, ewan ko nalang ayoko na magtalk dahil mukhang walang plano magbago ng ugali ang isang yun.
