Chapter 9: Purple

"I think baby blue is better than crystal violet."

I stared at Arnis figure. We're currently in Laluna. Wala kasing klase ngayong araw dahil sa Freshmen Celebration, although mamayang gabi pa naman ito mangyayare.

I already have a gown and right now, I'm here to escort Arnis with her gown. She's currently in between of choosing colors. Actually, anything would suit her. She has a body that any man could die for. Maganda rin siya at sexy pa, mana talaga sa'kin eh.

"Just choose what you think fits you well, Arnis."

Ibinalik ko ang pagtingin sa magazine. Mamaya parin naman yung party at wala rin naman akong gagawin kaya mas mainam na samahan ko nalang muna tong isa.

Wala rin bago sa tiningnan ko, it's all about daily news, new faces, celebrities, entrepreneurs. I stopped flipping the page as I locked my eyes to the featured man. Napangiti ako nang mapakla.

Napailing-iling nalang ako bago nilapag ang magazine na hawak ko. I don't want to ruin this special day just by reminiscing something unecessary.

"Grand Hall is so fancy! I can't wait for your performance later!" napailing-iling nalang ako dahil sa excited na mukha ni Arnis. Papunta na kami ulit sa Cornelia. She settled with crystal violet at the end.

Speaking of performance."I don't know if I could pull it off later. You know that this will be the first time I would play violin right?" I asked while gazing at her beside me.

l'm currently driving with my car right now. Ewan ko ba sakanya at tinamad ata dahil nakisabay lang sakin.

"I know right! I'd never expect you to perform something spectacular later this evening, Craine." napatawa ito ng mahina bago tinulod ang kanang braso kito sa may bintana ng sasakyan bago ako tiningnan.

"I know you're not a fan of instruments. So, how come alam mo patugtugin yung violin?" nagtatakang sambit nito na ikinangiti ko.

Speaking of witch, Arkray. I really need to send my gratitude sa ginawa n'ya. Lubos s'yang nakatulong sa'kin. I was close to beat that violin kung hindi pa dahil sakanya.

"Arkray." sambit ko na ikinataas ng kilay niya. "Tinulongan ako ni Arkray kahapon." dagdag ko.

"Si Arkray? Siya lang nagturo sayo?" napatigil naman ako dahil sa sinambit niyo at nag-iwas ng tingin sakanya.

Actually lastnight, Miss Amora also helped me practice my performance. I admit she was really a great help last night after we took our dinner, and trust me, It was kind of the most awkward yet peaceful vibe I have ever experienced so far.

I don't have any idea that she knew how to play violin. I tilted my head to erase my thoughts.

"Hoy! Ayos ka lang jan? Bakit ka namumula? Mainit ba? Naka on naman yung aircon ah." napatikhim ako at seryosong nagmaneho dahil bigla nga uminit ng walang dahilan, and i don't even know why.

"I'm okay." tugon ko at napabuntong hininga. Yesterday was unexpected. Hayaan ko nalang muna na hindi mainis tutal hindi naman nakakainis yung pinaggagawa ni Miss Luciano, and of course nandun parin naman yung kasungitan niya. Dinaig pa talaga ako eh.

"Craine! God, mabuti naman at nandito kana. I was planning to tell you something pero minabuting sa personal ko nalang sasabihin. bungad na sambit ni Fanny sa'kin pagkapasok ko sa loob ng room namin.
