Chapter 11: Worried

The crime was a reminder that even if how secured the place, how expensive the things are, If there is a single person who will never hesitate to commit crimes with the people connected to the big names of society, It will all turn to chaos.

The Cornelia Campbell is still on uproar even if three days already passed after the death of Gray Velasco. It was such an unimaginable situation that we never expect would come. I mean who would even expect the magical night would turn out to be a murder site right?

"Have you seen Arkray?" I asked when I approached Arnis. We're currently in the Grand Line. I just don't like this kind of ambiance when i get here at the Grand Line. Everything is just too calm and it made me worried even more.The students act like they didn't hear or even witnessed the murder of Gray Velasco at all. Everything is normal and I hate it. It gives me a different feeling.

"That's what i about to ask. It's been three days already, Craine. Hindi pa siya nagpapakita sa'tin." I bit my lips while playing with the gummy bears in my tongue. Is Arkray really that close to Gray Velasco? I saw how she cried, how she became a different person that night.

Ano ba ang papel ni Gray Velasco sa buhay niya?

"Someone said that it was a work of an assassin from the rival of Velasco Clan."

I looked at Fanny who's currently playing with her petri dishes. "We still don't know if it's an assassination from their rival clan since the event in Grand Hall was exclusive for the students and staffs of Cornelia. You know what? Duda talaga ako kay Miss Amora eh. Siya lang yung wala noong gabing 'yun."

My eyebrows furrowed because of what Arnis said. "Arnis, you can't accused someone just because they are gone that night. Malay mo may emergency diba? Hindi nga ganung klaseng tao si Miss Luciano!"

I clenched my fist before closing my eyes. I just hate this feeling. "What's with you, Craine? Why are you trying so hard to protect Miss Luciano? Everyone could be the prime suspect here! Obviously, siya talaga ang paghihinalaan dahil siya naman yung biglang nawala noong gabing yun. Kayo narin nagsabi diba? May nangyareng sagutan sa pagitan nila ni Gray Velasco."

Napainom ako sa tubig dito sa harap. "Isa lang naman ang paraan para malaman ang mga hinala niyo at para narin hindi na kayo magtalo dalawa, kasi kahit ako gusto ko rin malaman. Hindi ako naniniwala na dahil lang ito sa kaaway ng pamilya ni Gray Velasco."

I looked at Fanny. "What do you mean?"

"Let's investigate Miss Amora." seryosong sambit nito na ikinaigtad ko. Investigate? I have a bad feeling about this.

"Oo nga para matapos na. Let's also try to investigate the crime scene at baka may naiwan ang suspect, or any hint to solve this." Arnis added. I bit my lips before sighing.

"Do you think tailing her would be effective?" I asked while looking at Miss Amora's figure. Nasa Dean's office siya ngayon.

"This is the only way for us to know kung may kinalaman ba siya sa nangyare." Napatigil ako at tiningnan silang dalawa na nagmamasid. Why the hell did i even go with them? Hindi talaga ako naniniwala na may kinalaman si Miss Amora dito eh. Isa pa, kapatid niya kasi yung nawalan, regardless of their connection with Gray Velasco.

"Shit!" Kinakabahan na yumuko kaming tatlo nang mapagawi sa pinagtataguan namin ang tingin ni Miss Luciano. "Hurry up! Move!"

"Let's stop this." Napatigil silang dalawa at mabilis na nilingon ako nang marating namin ang hallway. "It doesn't really make sense, guys."

Napabuntong hininga si Arnis nang marinig ang sinabi ko. "I'll go first." I said.

'Till now i'm still curious. Ilang araw ko na hindi nakikita si Arkray. Hindi ko man alam ang pinagsamahan o connection nila ni Gray Velasco, she doesn't deserve to suffer like this.
