Later that night, we held a funeral for all of those that died defending Asgard. I stood beside Loki, who was silently crying and I gave his hand a gentle squeeze. We watched as Frigga's body floated by on a small boat, a veil covering her face. Once she was out in the open, Odin gave a signal and an archer fired a flaming arrow, setting her boat on fire. A moment later, several more arrows were fired, setting the rest of the boats on fire. Once her boat was near the edge, it started floating and her body evaporated into beautiful blue dust and I watched in awe as a new star formed in the sky.
"Goodbye, mother." I heard Loki whisper.
Suddenly, blue orbs floated into the sky, making the scene truly magical.

Later that night, I laid in bed with Loki, silently staring at the ceiling. We had decided to spend the night in the palace because of how exhausted we were. Surprisingly, Odin thanked the Avengers for their help and allowed them to stay one night, but no more after that.
I pushed a button on the bed and the roof opened, revealing the night sky, and the new star which shone brightly.
"You know, it's kind of amazing." I spoke at last. "Now you mother's one on the many stars in the heavens that shine brightly on us. She deserved it."
Loki nodded. "Every bit of it." He brought me into a hug, resting his head on mine. Five minutes later, we both fell into a deep and peaceful sleep, the new star watching over us.
Sorry for the short chapter.
