Chapter 24: The Revengers

The good news is, I didn't kill anyone, I only disturbed the peace. The bad news is, I saw the man who killed my mother and boy, did I want my revenge. We made our way back to the building where Valkyrie, Thor, Bruce, and I formed a team called the Revengers.

"The Revengers?" I asked Thor.

"Yes, it's a brilliant name, is it not?"

Valkyrie then said that she had a peace offering for us and opened the door to reveal...my boyfriend chained up in a chair.

"Surprise!" He said.

I rolled my eyes and sighed at him while Thor threw a cup at him, which bounced off his head. "Ow."

"Just had to be sure." Thor said, eyeing him carefully.

I walked towards him and crossed my arms. "What did you do?"

"Something wrong apparently." He replied. "Can you untie me?"

I smiled and kissed his forehead. "No."

He looked at me with a mocked betrayal expression as I walked over to the snack table and began to devour the Space Fries.

Me and Bruce were eating happily until Valkyrie mentioned something called a "devil's anus"

"Anus? Whose anus?" Bruce asked, walking towards the window. "That looks like a collapsing neutron star inside of an Einstein Rosen bridge."

"We need another ship." Valkyrie continued. "That will tear mine to pieces."

"She's right we need something that will withstand the portal." Thor added.

Bruce then said something that was English but my vocabulary was not as advanced as his so I had no idea what he meant.

"And we'll need cup holders, because we're all gonna die so, drinks!" Valkyrie said, holding up a liquor bottle.

"Do I know you?" Bruce asked. "I feel like I know you."

"I feel like I know you too, it's weird." She replied. "We need a ship, there's one of two options-"

"I don't mean to impose-" Loki started to say, but Valkyrie cut him off by throwing her bottle at him, missing him by only a few inches. "Hey, let him speak. He could have a useful plan." I said. Loki smiled at me briefly before continuing. "The Grandmaster has a great many of ships, and I may have stolen the access code to his security system."

"Of course you did." I smiled.

"Well suddenly you're overcome with an urge to do the right thing." Valkyrie remarked.

"I have run out of favor with the Grandmaster," He continued, ignoring her. "And in exchange for codes and access to a ship, I'm asking for a safe passage through the anus. For me and (Y/n)."

"You're telling us that you can get us access into the garage without setting off any alarms?" Thor asked, still suspicious.

"Yes, brother. I can." Loki replied.

"Ok, can I just... a quick FYI?" Bruce said, huddling us all into a circle. "I literally just talked to him minutes ago, and he was totally ready to kill any of us."

"He did try to kill me." Valkyrie added.

"Me too, on many, many occasions." Thor added. "There was one time when we were children, he transformed himself into a snake, and he knows that I love snakes. So, I went to pick up the snake and admire it, and he transformed back into himself, and he was like: "Yeah! It's me!" And then he stabbed me.

We all glanced at him to see a warm smiled spread across his lips at the memory.

"Really guys?" I raised an eyebrow. "He's part of the Avengers, he was probably just pulling your leg. He does it to me all the time. Plus he's changed."

Valkyrie sighed. "If we're boosting a ship, we're gonna need to draw the guards away from the palace."

"Why not set the beast loose?" Loki suggested.

"Shut up." Thor said.

"You guys have a beast?" Valkyrie asked.

"No, there's no beast. He's just being stupid." He replied. "We're going to start a revolution."

"Revolution?" I asked.

"I'll explain later."
