I am sat in the library of the boarding house watching Damon rummage though books as he throws them around haphazardly. My eyes move over to the door and see Stefan enter the room; he flashes me a small smile before turning his attention back to Damon.

"What are you looking for Damon?" Stefan asked leaning against the door frame.

"Not your concern" Damon snarked as he continued to look through the books.

"No. but putting Elena in harm's way, that's my concern" Stefan said pushing off the door frame and stepping closer to Damon, I watched with furrowed brows, Damon never put Elena in harm's way.

"What are you talking about Stefan?" I asked standing up and moving to stand beside Damon.

"I'm talking about Atlanta" Stefan said looking at me.

"She was never in danger Stefan. The girl may not like me, but I would never allow her to be in danger knowing how much she means to you. Your my soulmates brother and she is you girlfriend so I would not of allowed her to be in danger" I spoke softly, wrapping my arms around Damon's waist and leaning my head against his shoulder.

"So what are you looking for? I get it you feel like you owe Katherine, and now Bonnie's destroyed the crystal, it destroyed your chance at getting her out of the tomb. Unless Jamie found out another way to get in" Stefan said taking a slight step closer to me which caused Damon to pull me to the other side of him.

"Your pathetic when your fishing" Damon said whilst continuing to look through books.

"And your transparent when your deflecting" Stefan threw back at him.

"Don't you have school" Damon snapped whilst still look through the books. After Stefan had left I heaved out a sigh.

"What book is it your looking for love, I may be able to speed up the process" I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

"My fathers journal" Damon muttered, I closed my eyes and concentrated on the journal, before putting my hand out to catch it as it flew into my hand. "Nice" Damon spoke wearing his signature smirk. I handed him the journal before moving to grab my bag.

"I have to go and meet Bonnie at the school, I'll see you later?" I said as I placed my bag over my shoulder and pressed a kiss to Damon's cheek, as I walked away I felt Damon's hand latch onto my wrist before spinning me to face him and capturing my lips in a sweet kiss.

"Now I'll see you later angel" Damon muttered as I giggled and waved bye. I climbed in my car and dove the short journey to the high school, arriving just as Bonnie came out the door. Honking my horn I laughed at her surprised face before climbing out the car.

"Hey Bonnie" I greeted as I pulled her into a hug.

"Hey Jamie, you fancy meeting Grams early?" she asked and laughed at my eager nod.

"Do you need a lift?" I asked opening my car door.

"Please I had my dad drive me this morning" Bonnie sighed out climbing into the passenger seat. As I pulled out of the parking lot Bonnie gave me directions to her Grams house as she filled me in on everything she had been practicing, as we pulled up to her Grams house I reached over and pulled my own grimoire out of my bag and passed it to her. "What's this?" Bonnie asked looking up at me.

"This is my grimoire, or one of mine at least. This one is my personal one, I have hundreds more at home, your free to come and check them out however" I leaned over quickly flicking to the page I wanted, "this spell stops vampires in their tracks, it causes an aneurysm. It's a great tool to have" I said with a shrug before closing the book and placing it back in my bag. We both exited the car, and I could tell Bonnie was lost in thought.
