Chapter 5 - Season 4

I decided to stay out of the supernatural drama for today. After the events of yesterday I honestly couldn't deal with everything going on, so I decided to mentally check out for the day. Damon promised to keep me updated before I sent him off to go and help Stefan. Apparently Elena was having some problems after she killed Connor. I knew what was happening, it was the hunters curse, since she killed him she was going to hallucinate until he made her his final victim. I tried to tell Damon but he's sceptical about this whole hunters business as it is, so I left him to his own devices and decided to get on with my day of relaxation.

"Jamie!" I jumped as I heard Klaus's voice resonate through the mansion. Standing up I wandered towards the sound of his voice.

"Yes my love?" Klaus turned around and smiled at me.

"Fancy accompanying me to the Lockwood's?" I sighed before nodding my head.

"I'm not getting changed though. Let me put on my trainers on" I moved past him and wandered upstairs and headed to the closet and pulled out my white trainers. I was wearing white joggers with a white tank top and white hoodie over the top. Grabbing my phone I slipped it into my pocket and headed back down the stairs to Klaus.

"Ready?" I nodded at my soulmate and slipped my hand into his just as Elijah joined us.

"Where are you two off to?" we both looked over at Elijah, I smiled as Klaus rolled his eyes.

"To the Lockwood's. Your welcome to join us brother" Elijah nodded, following us out of the door. Deciding not to drive, Klaus picked me up and used vampire speed to get to the mansion. Walking through the front door my eyes widened at the sight in front of me. "Well, don't let us interrupt" I giggled as Tyler and Hayley, the werewolf Klaus told me about, jumped apart. Hayley's eyes locked onto mine and I gave her a little wave.

"Hello, I don't believe we've met. Jamie-Leigh Stewart" I held my hand out to Hayley who shook it with an amused glint.

"Hayley. So you're the very powerful super witch" I laughed and rolled my eyes.

"I wonder who told you that. Whoever it is downplayed my capabilities a lot" Hayley giggled before linking her arm through mine.

"I think we are going to be great friends" I smiled up at the werewolf.

"You know what, so do I" I giggled at the look on my soulmates faces as I became friends with Hayley.

"Anyway I came round to celebrate Dean's successful retrieval of the vampire hunter and my soulmate. Yet when I arrived, not only did I learn Dean was unsuccessful, but I also found out my soulmate was stood on a bomb and that Elena had killed the hunter" I sent Klaus a flat look for being insensitive.

"Well maybe if you let Dean use force on Connor instead of sending him on a suicide mission" Hayley snapped, I sighed as Elijah pulled me away from the arguing pair.

"Maybe you should mind your business, wolf girl".

"What do you care if Connor's dead anyway?" Tyler asked, I looked up at Elijah knowing why Klaus cared, Klaus told him that it didn't matter anymore until we were interrupted by a knock on the door. As Tyler opened the door Caroline shoved a box into his chest.

"I brought your stuff. Old laptop, your jersey, charm bracelet" Caroline dropped the bracelet into the box Tyler was holding. I moved back over to Hayley as we watched the interaction between the two teenagers. Something was off though, Caroline's anger wasn't genuine. I glanced to the side of me to see Hayley's reaction when I caught a glimpse of the mark on her shoulder.

"Come on sweetheart, it's time to go" I nodded at Klaus and hugged Hayley.

"If you want to know about your birth mark get my number off Tyler" I whispered to her before stepping back, "it was nice to meet you Hayley" Hayley waved at me still stunned by what I had said. I walked out of the door behind my soulmates who quickly pulled me in between them.
