I was sitting on the sofa in the living room with Rebekah, we are having our nails done since Esther decided to throw a ball tonight to reunite her family. I was sceptical of the whole situation, why would a woman who had been killed by her son, want to reunite her family. Also why would a 1000-year-old witch decide to try and channel me. The whole thing just didn't sit right with me, but Elijah and Klaus seemed to believe her, so I kept my opinions to myself.

"Rebekah? Tell me how handsome I look" I glanced up at Kol before looking back down at the ground that I had been staring at.

"Oh Kol, you know I cant be compelled" I laughed at Rebekah's reply causing Kol to turn his attention onto me.

"Jamie, what about you?" I glanced back up at him with a raised brow.

"My mum told me that if I didn't have anything nice to say then not say anything at all" I went back to staring at my spot on the floor. I hadn't even heard Klaus walk through the front door until he started yelling at Rebekah.

"You went after Elena? What is wrong with you?" I sighed knowing a fight was brewing and as if luck was on my side the lady had just finished my nails, thanking her quietly I moved towards Klaus and gently placed my hand on his chest.

"Nik, calm down. Rebekah has every right to be mad at Elena. She daggered her after pretending to be Bekahs friend, that hurts. Leave it alone alright?" Klaus looked down at me and nodded, placing a gentle kiss to my forehead.

"Wow she managed to calm the mutt down" I sighed hearing Kol's words before I then turned my piercing gaze onto him.

"Oh go back to staring at yourself and leave Nik alone" Kol was wearing a stupid smirk that I really wanted to wipe off his face as he listened to me. "If you don't wipe that smirk off your face Kol I will do it for you" I took a step closer to him, "and I wont be polite about it" I turned around and walked away just as Elijah came into the room.

"Where are you off to darling?" I stopped in the doorway and looked up at Elijah.

"Spell work. I'll be in my room, come and find me when it's time to get ready" Elijah nodded at me before I continued on my journey up the stairs. I closed my door behind me and pulled out my oldest grimoire. It had been a while since I read through this one, mainly because all of the spells in there required a massive amount of power and at the time I didn't have access to it. I had no idea how long I had been in my room until Elijah came in with a dress bag and told me it was time to get ready. Thanking him for my dress I shooed him out of the room so I could get dressed. My dress was an icy blue off the shoulder a line dress with a slit that ended mid-thigh and had long lace sleeves. My makeup was a simple winged eyeliner and a little bit of gloss, and my hair was done into very intricate braids and fastened in a stylish low bun. I still wore my talisman and finished off the look with a pair of white heels. Taking a deep breath and left my room, bumping into Finn on the way.

"Good evening Miss Stewart. You look wonderful" I smiled up at him, Finn hadn't really said much to me, but he was never rude.

"Thank you Finn. You look amazing as well" he flashed me a small smile before gesturing for me to head down the stairs. As I did I could feel everyone's eyes on me, and it made me a little nervous. As if sensing my nervousness Damon held his hand out for me at the bottom of the stairs, which I gladly accepted, allowing the feel of his hand in mine ground me.

"You look like a queen" Damon complimented me quietly as he took me over to Klaus and Elijah.

"He's right, you look divine" Klaus kissed my cheek, eliciting a smile to take over my face.

"I am inclined to agree with both of them. A true goddess" Elijah kissed the back of my hand before Damon quickly whisked me away so we could talk to Carol. In all honesty I wasn't listening after we had exchanged pleasantries. I could feel a gaze burning into me, raising my eyes I locked eyes with Kol who then winked at me, I scoffed whilst rolling my eyes and tuned back into the conversation in front of me. Damon growled a little at Kol's teasing, but I told him to just ignore it, it wasn't worth getting into a fight over.
