Chapter 35: God Mission

-Time Nest-

It was a mess. Everything. Ruby can only watched as different kinds of Time Patrols using Time Machines to go into parallel universes to fix the damage, which was caused by Kai.

"I didn't thought it will be this bad...." Chronoa said to Ai and the twins. She then called for Trunks and Ace, who were ordering the rest of the Time Patrols to correct history at Conton City. After a few minutes, the two came back to the Time Nest.

"Are you guys done?" The pink Kaioshin asked the two, to which they nodded.

"Everything's okay. Now, we need to find Kai." Chronoa said to them. 

"I'd say we go with the original plan. Find Bardock first. Then, find Towa and Mira." Trunks suggested to the Kaioshin and she nodded.

"Here, this is the point of time where Bardock vanished from the destruction of Planet Vegeta." Trunks thanked her as  he told Ace they will be heading out now.

Before that, Trunks saw Ai, Aqua and Ruby. But he looked specifically at Ruby, who was looking gloomy on the floor. This perked his attention a bit and he went to the little girl. He crouched to eye level with her.

"Are you okay, Ruby?" The girl looked back at Trunks, her face showed sadness. This made Trunks reminisced back when the android's attack on his timeline.

"Please.... bring Mr. Kai back. Could you do that, Mr. Trunks?" Ruby said to the warrior of hope. He nodded without hesitation. He gave her a reassuring smile as he stood up.

"I'll do it, no matter what the cost. After all, he's my little brother." Said Trunks as he patted on her head. He then looked at Ai, who were giving him the same message as Ruby. Save Kai. Her eyes clearly showed it. He nodded at her as he went to Ace, who was talking to Chronoa.

"Use it when necessary." Chronoa handed him an item as Trunks called out for him. He put it in his pocket and turned his head and nodded at Trunks.

"Let's head out now."

-Age 737-

The scene took place on Planet Vegeta, when Frieza, the self-proclaimed emperor of the universe charged up a massive Ki ball on his index finger and launched it towards the planet.

Bardock, who made the last resistance against the emperor could only watched in horror as the massive ball of energy went straight to him.

"Uwaaaaah!!" He screamed before the Ki ball engulfed him. But a sudden wormhole appeared and consumed the low class soldier and disappeared once again.

After that, a sudden teleportation sound echoed, revealing Towa and Mira nodding at each other before flying back to unknown destination. Unbeknownst to them, Trunks and Ace followed the two closely.

The pair looked around the place. Trunks tried to made an assumption regarding Bardock.

"It looks like they used a wormhole to capture Bardock. But what is this place, anyway? It reminds me of Earth, but everything is ruined."

"How... t-the... inve-vestigation going on?" His communicator asked the purple haired warrior. Trunks said no.

"Some-thing... i-is... jamming the.... communication. But w-we can see... you using... Elder Kai's... crystal ball." Told Chronoa as Ai, Ruby, Aqua and Elder Kai watched them closely from the Time Nest.

Out of nowhere, a flash of sound caught the two's attention as they saw Towa standing in front of them, surprising them.

Trunks gritted his teeth and rushed in to hit the demon, but his punch was caught by Bardock, who had an omnious aura covering him. Trunks struggled to release himself for a bit and took a few steps back, ready to fight.
