As the first group was heading to the protogen room they have heard something behind them.
"We don't have time for that! Let's just get going." said Ashley as she seen others trying to reload thier guns.
"If you say so." responded Ryan dissapointed that he can't be the first one in the team to kill a raytraxian.
"We need to inspect this whole thing." Ashley gave comand.
And they did. They explored most of the rooms one of them was suspically closed, while there was the most nosie coming out of it.
"Found anything?" asked Ashley.
"Yeah, some weapons on shelfs, some more reasources and a suspicious notebook, it doesn't belong to anyone that worked in laminax... " Lucy answered.
"I'm going to inspect it later." Ashley murmured
"Hey, what about that noisy room? Shouldn't we try to check what is in it?" Ryan suddenly asked.
"It's easy, isomething got locked in here by someone it means it is dangerous, the problem is that we didn't brought many weapons for this expedition... Understand? If it's a nightcrawler or something we better don't get close, we may have guns but it will survive thaf." Ashley tried to explain.
"Sheesh, since when were you a nerd in those stuff." Ryan responded.
"Let's just get out of here..." Ashley commanded before leaving the room, the other two followed her.

Meanwhile in the noisy room there was nothing more than a 'hybrid' of a normal and a dark protogen named Chain, he got locked in here for unknown reasons, when he heard footsteps he tried to be as loud as he can so whoever was there would open the door and let him out of here, little did he knew the ones passing were humans.
"Why did they leave me here!?" he cried "What did i do wrong?!" Well he know what he did yet it would fit his 'i got abandoned' narrativr.
After a while he heard voices he barely recognized, he realized, those were humans, the ones who worked here before.
"Shit, they know i'm here now." he whispered to himself "Guess it's over, fuck you all, i blame every raytrax for my death..." Just as he almost had an outburst he heard the footsteps getting more quiet.
"Wait are they going away?, phew I'm lucky..."
Then he heard the door unlocking, he was scared. "Guess not..." he mumbled. But luck was actually on his side since since the one who actually opened the door was no one else than Bloom.
"You scared me!-" Chain complained.
"I wanted to make sure you are safe, we are friends right? I didn't wanted you to die, not to them..." Bloom accidently interrupted him.
"Whatever, better tell me how did you got here, i know that if you could you would spend your entire life in that garden. Lemme guess you just dashed there as ghost foxes always do?" Chain continued.

Bloom looked away from him but still answered.
"I just... Kind of sneaked in here when they were leaving... I didn't need to dash or anything..." the ghost fox admitted, she sounded upset for some reason but the protogen didn't care about that.

"You know it was risky! They could've easily heard you!" Chain got nervous, swaying his tail quickly from left to right.
"You... Worried about me...?" Bloom couldn't believe.
"Ugh! Just forget it!" Chain stood up and left, he didn't want Bloom to think he cared, he didn't! But now this dumb ghost fox will always remember this as caring.

"So we explored the protogen room now what?" Lucy asked.
"We were supposed to go to the bridge or the gas rooms next, i don't remember that well." Ryan answered before Ashley could.
"The broken one?" Lucy wanted to be sure.
"Yes, that one." Ryan confirmed.
"Alright then." Lucy muttered.
"Let's go team!" Ryan reloaded his gun, ready to shoot some raytraxians.
After a while when they got to the bridge Lucy commented "Well, here we are at the bridge! Huh... There is literally nothing here... Do we go?"
"Not, yet! We need to- wait, what the...?" Ashley looked to her right, the sight was weird, big neon green crystals. Ashley went closer to inspect the crystals.
"Probably that waste goo formed into crystals and now they can act the same as the goo... Transfur people into toxic rabbits upon touch... Interesting... I guess the other teams searched trough the bridge and the gas room since there is nothing left for us to take..." Ashley was thinking loudly, her attention shifting from one place to another untill her gaze fell on the bridge that Darky was so proud of fixing.
"I guess that's all...huh? Someone fixed the bridge! Must've been one of the raytrax..." Ashley continued to theorize.
"Its just some planks, it must've been a lazy fixing, it also looks very dangerous to waln on..." Lucy commented.
"You're right, i think we can go back to the safe zone for now." Ashley gave another command.
They started walking towards the safe zone, they've come to the conclusion that while the facility is in almost perfect shape, there wasn't much useful items they could take.
As they arrived to the safe zone they looked at everything they've gathered, Ashley then looked at the notebook they found in the protogen rooms, Ashley, unlike the others, recognised it.
"Let's see what's iside, i guess..." Ashley said flipping trough the pages, trying strabgely hard for the others to not see the first pages untill she started flipping so aggresively, but they weren't so interesting but the last one stood out.
The whole page was stained with dried goo, the words were hard to read and glittery.
She tried so hard to read it.
"I think you know what happened..." Ashley read out loud then sighted, a raytraxian must have be the one who wrote this.
It didn't felt right, Ashley was more confused than ever.
"Did they kill someone or something?" Ryan then asked.
"Maybe..." Ashley begun
"And if so then they aren't as 'pure' and 'innocent' as they claim to be.. Heh.." she laughed as she walked out of safe zone.
"It is our job to kill raytraxians after all and we have done zero progress, grab some weapons boys and girls, we're going on a killing spree!" She finally finished her monolouge.
"You're right!"Ryan responded.
"She's nuts..." Lucy sighted but still wanted to work together so she did what she was told.
They'vee gotten better guns out, reloaded them and got ready to commit a gootraxian genocide but then, when they thought they were ready, the lights started to flicker, then they turned red and with them so did the goo puddles and crystals, the barrier shut off too, a power outage started.
"Damn it! It always has to happen! Oh well... bet the power outage rays should be out now." Ashley groaned, she noticed that the other teams came back too, they've probably rushed there once the power outage started.
So she told them her orders, which were basically to start killing.
"Hey, Ashley, would you allow me to do a little something?" A voice spoke up, it was Arthur.
"Huh? Alright, do whatever you want as long as you're doing the job." Ashley answered, she didn't care about what was he about to do nor did she cared about him as a person.
"And also don't shoot to other teammembers." She added just in case.
"Don't worry, i have planned something that will actually help us..." Arthur uttered before walking away causing Ashley to just eye-roll as she was coming up with her plan.
