“Can you come home already?”

Karishma whines as she pouts and rests her chin on Haseena’s shoulder. Haseena tries not to be distracted and pays for the bouquet of flowers she has ordered earlier.

“It’s only been a week and it was your idea that we go along with it.” Haseena takes the flowers from the florist and mouths her appreciation. It is a small bouquet with a few autumn flowers.

“Well, I’ve changed my mind.”

Haseena turns to face her and hands her the flowers she has just got. “Here you go.”

“Thank you.” Karishma takes it and gives Haseena a kiss on her cheek. “I don’t know where the vase is so you need to come home today.”

Haseena chuckles before taking Karishma’s hand and walks out of Haseena’s regular flower shop. They are going on a date although they are also doing their two-week separation that they have talked about. Haseena has been staying with Alice while Karishma is holding down the fort. Things they have learned from this experience so far are they miss each other and they learn more about themselves in a different marital status. Haseena has learned that everything Karishma has done for her, it’s not because Karishma sees her as an incapable person but it’s because Karishma sees her as her family. It is something that Haseena hasn’t come to terms with just yet. Han is right; Karishma is way ahead of Haseena on things that matter and things that will save their marriage. Karishma also has gradually realized that she cannot push Haseena into things she is not quite ready for. The more she pushes Haseena into things she sees right, the more Haseena is pushed away from her. Haseena needs a lot of space to grow on her own as well as with her.

“Our date hasn’t officially started and you’ve already asked me to go home with you. Wow, lady.” Haseena jokes and wraps her arm around Karishma’s waist. The glances are given and the hearts are racing. She loves her so much although sometimes, in the heat of some situations, she might forget that for a good second.

“Let’s go home.”

Haseena laughs and drags Karishma along after she refuses to continue walking. “No. We’re going to dinner.”

“Hold on.” Karishma pulls Haseena to stop as they are not far away from the restaurant. She spots someone and confusion takes place in her mind. “Isn’t that Zoe... and Danielle?”

Haseena adjusts her glasses and looks where Karishma is looking. It is definitely Zoe and Danielle. They are walking towards the exact same restaurant from the opposite direction. It appears to be only them and no one else accompany them.

“What do we do?” Haseena asks with a little panic in her voice. She acts as if they were getting caught when in fact, they are a married couple doing a regular date night.

“What are they doing together?”

“Is Danielle suing someone? You? What did you do?” Haseena’s question gets herself a playful slap on the arm with the sound that is not very playful.

“Is it a date?”

“Do we pretend like we don’t see them? Let’s grab something else to eat.”

“Nope. Too late.” Karishma waves back to the two people who are the topic of their endless questions. “Hi, guys.”

Zoe and Danielle wait in front of the restaurant for the couple to approach them. It was Danielle who spotted them first and chose to do nothing. She knows how weird this would look and she doesn’t have any explanations on why she is having dinner with Zoe. However, that wasn’t the case for Zoe. She sees someone she knows. She greets them. So, she waved. Zoe and Danielle look at each other awkwardly but doesn’t say anything to one another which makes it even more suspicious.
