Pauline quickly run in between them to stop their father from hurting Min.
" dad..no.. Let him explain first.."
She pleaded.
" theres nothing to explain Pauline! Im so disappointed! You!" He shout at Min." I'll send you abroad. You dont need to attend your graduation. I'll be so humiliated if you went on the stage to get the medal after you cheated!"
" but that's not mine..I maybe a playboy but Im not a cheat! And Ive worked hard for that medal!" He said his face full of anger and hurt." How can you think low of me dad? Im your son!"
" thats why Im hurt..you.. Your a big disappointment..I didnt expect you to do this.." Their father wipe a tear from his face and went out of the room while their mother followed him right away.
Pauline and Min look at each other. She definitely didnt expect that their parents will hear them. She just plan on confronting Min and keeping it a secret afterwards.
But their parents heard. They return home that night, to get her mother's purse that was left on the sofa and heard them shouting at each other.
Min was sent to the States right away. Her father didnt even get the medals and certficates from the school. He is so angry at Min that he didnt speak with him until he returned six months ago.
Only Pauline and their mom tried to call but he ignored them all.
When he returned, Min thought that it will be ok. Their father told him to work on their company but he was placed on a low position so he can prove himself first. Eventhough he has great credentials from abroad.
" i *hik* hate her..I'll never forgive her...she ruined my life.."
Pauline felt like a knife pierced her chest when she heard what Hyun said. " oh ..is that the issue about Mich's papers? She told the dean that it was because of a dare. They saw the CCTV that shows she got the papers from Mrs. Alejandro's drawers. You should have told them you know.."
" they didnt listen *hik* .. You know what bro.*hik* what hurts is they believed Im that kind of person *hik* ..fvck!" Min got another bottle of beer emptied in one shot.
" but dont worry..*hik* she wants forgiveness..*hik*" Min said as he laugh. " she knows what to do..*hik* "
" yeah yeah but what if she didnt do it bro..?" Hyun ask him not knowing the gravity of his friends hatred for his sister.
" well..Ill just kill myself then. They would be so happy once that happens. The bad son will be out of their lives for good!" Min said and he laugh again.

Yonghwa sat down next to Min. " yah! Youre so serious down here."
He reach for a beer, opened it and drink half of its contents.
" can you believe that bro? Min wants to die!" Hyun told Yonghwa.
" what?!" Yonghwa ask looking at Min's face.
" hahahaha! Min wants to die.. the idiot!" Hyun laugh at Min clearly drunk from too much drinking.
" whoah! Bro are you serious? Dont die yet..youre gonna be my best man you know.." Yonghwa said and laugh with Hyun.
They exchange banters and Min didnt answer but when Pauline found the courage to peek at his face, she was shock. His face is so serious.
Pauline's face paled. Shes afraid for her brother. This is the reason why hes so mad at her. Its her fault. Looking at him, shes sure that he will do what he said earlier.
If only she gave him the benefit of the doubt. If only she didnt confront him. Therr are a lot of things she shouldnt have done. Maybe her brother wont be like this. He wouldnt feel alienates from his family. He wouldnt feel so alone.
Pauline stand up when Yong and Hyun pull Min up and they all went to the middle of the room to dance with Shin and a group of girls. She didnt look back. She throw her bag on the seat after unlocking her car and drove off.
She already made her decision.
