Pauline woke up to Yonghwa kissing her forehead. Its been three weeks since they were married. Happiness seems to follow her after the wedding and she cant complain.
Yonghwa is attentive making up for the lost years. He went to work in the morning and will be home by three in the afternoon.
They would eat by the veranda of the house that was built overlooking Taal Lake. They chose this house and she was surprised that Yonghwa still went ahead and purchase it after she ran away three years ago.
Everything is good and she finally talked to her parents. She asked for forgiveness for leaving but she didnt tell them her reasons. Her father is still aloof but her mom welcomed her back with open arms.
She found out that Min is now the COO in their company and he has moved out of their parents house and has his own townhouse in BF Homes.
Occasionally, Shin and John would call and ask Yong for a night out. He will be gone for three hours and return right away. Sending her text messages that he misses her the while time he is away from her.
" Im coming back."
" Finally Dhez. You found your courage back?" Pauline loves to tease Dhezzy on the phone.
She decided to comeback to the Philippines but she will be staying at her penthouse in RichMond Ville in Pasig City.
" Dad's not getting younger and Ethan is getting married. " she explained her reason for her comeback. Thor will be staying at their ancestral house in New Manila and thats it.
" Im reopening Angels'cakes. I hope my partner will reconsider and assist me.." She said and Pauline laugh at her. Yonghwa encouraged her to bake again and just work online like before and she said she will try it for a month.
" yes! I'll be rich in no time!" Dhezzy said and they both laugh.
Just like before the reopening of their online bakestore is a success and they plan on creating fusion cakes again.
Pauline finds it therapeutic when she bakes and shes a lot calmer and understanding of her husbands quirks. Loving Yonghwa and getting back together made them more open to each other.
The wind is getting colder specially since its nearing the holidays. Orders for their baked goodies is coming in bulk and Angels'cakes business is booming.
" We need to have a different person manning the webpage.. I dont even have a life anymore outside of my baking pans!" Dhezzy complained after finishing five fusion cake orders.
" Hmmm...." She answered while sipping her hot chocolate. They were talking through Skype and were chilling out.
" Have you spoken with your brother?" Dhezzy asked suddenly.
Pauline's eyes misted a bit but she smiled. She shake her head. She tried to talk to Min but he just hang up on her everytime and although Yonghwa doesnt forbid her to go to her brother, she doesnt do it. She knows that everytime Min hangs out with Shin and John, Yong stays with her at their house.
" hey sweet Im home.." Yonghwa kiss Pauline full on the lips and Dhezzy's loud laughter boomed from the speakers.
" hello to you too Dhez." Yonghwa greet her and went to the dining room.
" wow he still good to you." Dhezzy said smiling.
" you can have that too if youre not too stubborn!" Pauline exclaimed.
" not that again!" Dhezzy slap her forehead.
" John loves you..I think. Well everytime he looks at you..."
" Pauline Jung stop pairing me with that jerk!" Dhezzy rolled her eyes. " He. Is. Not. A. Good. Person." She emphasized each word.
" who?" Yonghwa butt in their conversation. He is holding a crunch bar and a mug of hot chocolate.
" is this about John? " he ask and wink at Pauline.
" stop it you two! Its not funny." Dhezzy said her face scowling at them.
" give him a chance. Do you know that hes been celibate for the past three years?" Yonghwa said and then he laugh as he continue, " said he is looking for his camp partner from a while back."
Dhezzy and Pauline exchange a look and Dhezzy said goodbye after a few minutes.
" why is John looking for her camp partner? When did he went to camp?" Pauline asked her husband.
" hmm.. I think thats in elementary. He said shes an angel." Yonghwa answered and bit into his snack.
" does he know her name?" She ask again. She got her mug and went to the dining room and Yonghwa followed her.
" he doesnt and I find that odd. But you know he was in an accident in high school might be the reason why he doesnt remember her name or face. " he placed the mug in the sink and wash the dishes as Pauline placed a dish in the oven.
" oh? Then how can he find her?" She look at her husband after she set the timer.
" hmmm I dont know. " He step behind Pauline and hug her. " I miss you sweet." He said and kiss her on the cheek.
" miss you too .." She answered and she turn around to look at him.
" im so lucky i found you again Pauline. " he said and he lowered his head to kiss her. " so lucky.."
