Y/N's POV

As I sat in the police station room where So-Hee had been detained, I couldn't escape the weight of guilt that bore down on me. My mind replayed the events of the previous night, the intimate encounter between Rosé and me, and the anguish I saw in Jennie's eyes as she helplessly watched. Regret gnawed at me, knowing that I had caused such pain to the person I loved.

Rosé walked into the room, her face still flushed with anger and frustration. It was just the two of us now, the tension palpable between us. I rose slowly from my chair, my eyes locked with hers, and the words spilled from my lips, anxious with concern.

"Are you alright? How are you feeling?" I asked, my voice tinged with anxiety.

Her gaze shifted away from me, fixating on the window, where police cars lined the road below. She responded in a shaky voice, devoid of strength. "Yeah... I'm fine... I'm sorry if... if I convinced you to do it in front of Jennie."

Her vulnerability shook me to the core. I couldn't bear to see her like this, so scared and fragile. Determined, I gently took hold of her face, forcing her eyes to meet mine.

"You have nothing to apologize for. You did what you felt you had to do. No one could blame you for what happened. Not me, not Jennie, not anyone," I whispered, my words laced with sincerity. "If anything, it was my fault."

Silence fell between us, the weight of our actions lingering in the air. Rosé's eyes flickered to my lips before meeting mine once more. She leaned in slightly, resting her forehead against mine, her hands atop mine. Our foreheads touched as I let out a sigh, her breath caressing my nose as she exhaled.

"Lisa and Jisoo are waiting outside. Jennie... well... she doesn't want to come home with us. I don't know what to say to her about all this," she murmured softly, avoiding eye contact.

My heart ached at the thought of Jennie, devastated and alone. I understood why she didn't want to return after what had transpired. I had caused her immense emotional pain, and it was clear that I couldn't go on with Rosé, leaving Jennie in such a fragile state. I whispered sadly, "I'm not coming with you either, Rosie. I can't leave Jennie alone and broken. It's my fault."

Rosé lifted her head slightly, giving me a tender peck on the lips before stepping away. "Okay... I understand."

I gently ran my fingers through her blonde hair, trying to provide comfort, before pulling her in for one last kiss, expressing my conflicted feelings. The kiss was gentle, innocent, a stark contrast to the betrayal we had committed against Jennie. However, no matter how innocent the kiss, it remained an unforgivable act.

What we had done was wrong, and I hoped that one day, when Jennie was ready, she would find it in her heart to forgive me. She deserved better than the pain I had caused, and I knew I didn't deserve her.

As Rosé prepared to leave, taking her phone and keys, I reached out and stopped her. She turned to face me, her expression stern, sadness and disappointment etched on her beautiful features.

"Promise me that you'll take care of yourself and stay safe, Rosie. Promise me you won't do anything reckless or dangerous," I said, my voice filled with genuine concern.

Rosé nodded, offering me a warm smile. "I promise, Y/N."

"Thank you. Take care," I reassured her with a smile, reluctantly letting her slip away.

Once Rosé disappeared into the distance, I sighed deeply and pulled the white blanket over my body, closing my eyes. Regret washed over me, consuming my thoughts. I hoped it wasn't too late to make amends.
