The feeling of her soft plush lips moving in tandem with yours set off sparks of electricity shooting throughout your body, igniting your senses to maximum intensity.
You couldn't keep your mind off her.
Everything seemed to fade away as your entire world revolved around Jennie. You felt dizzy and overwhelmed as you wrapped your arms around her waist and pushed her further against the blanket you were sharing underneath the shade of the umbrella.
She responded in kind, wrapping her arms around you in return and pressing her body flush against yours.
After a few minutes, you eventually separated, leaving a bright red tint on both of your faces, trying to catch your breaths.
Your eyes were trained on Jennie as you tried to regain control of your breathing.
"My dad was right..." You breathed. "If destiny wills it, I shall surely meet you again. And I did, thanks to your tooth ache and stubborn ass."
"I don't think destiny will ever take us apart this time around." Jennie admitted. "We always find our way back to each other no matter what happens."
"So what does fate have in store for us tomorrow then?" You asked jokingly.
She shook her head. "No clue. But wherever it takes us, I will follow you. To the ends of the earth, and beyond."
Her feline eyes sparkled happily while showing you her gummy smile.
As you locked eyes with her, you couldn't help but be captivated by the beauty reflected in her warm, chocolate brown orbs.A smile naturally tugged at the corners of your lips, your heart brimming with pure happiness and bliss.
"Wow, lovebirds. Save it for later," Lisa chimed in, her laughter ringing through the air as she playfully teased. "We're in public, you know? Kids are around!"
You glanced around the beach, taking in the sight of little ones scattered across the sand, their laughter filling the air as they ran and played tag.
Their parents stood close by, watching with pride and joy as their children embraced the freedom of carefree play.
It reminded you of a special moment you once shared with Rosé on a beach, where the world seemed to fade away and it was just the two of you.
The memory stirred a sense of nostalgia within you.
Rosé, sensing your gaze, joined you under the shade of the umbrella, her eyes lingering on the playful scene before her.
She let out a sigh, clearly lost in her own thoughts.
It seemed that she had remembered too.
"Oh, sorry, Lisa," you apologized sheepishly, scratching the back of your neck in embarrassment.
"No worries, Y/N. I get it. Love is a powerful force," she teased, a mischievous glint in her eyes.
You chuckled. "I can't deny it, Lisa. Love tends to distract me."
"Please!" Lisa feigned offense, rolling her eyes playfully. "You're such a smooth talker, Y/N."
You laughed heartily, playfully throwing an imaginary punch in her direction. "You wound me, Lisa!"
She playfully dodged your attack, rolling her eyes once more.
Jennie smiled sweetly beside you, resting her head on your shoulder as she observed the scene, her gaze filled with adoration for the children.
