TW!Warning- Slight gore, violence, strong language.

I fired a warning shot.

"OI BARBATOS, YOU DISGUSTING PATHETIC RAG OF AN ARCHON! GET YOUR HUNDREDS OF YEARS ABSENT ASS DOWN HERE AND FACE ME LIKE A REAL GOD BEFORE  THAT WARNING ARROW BECOMES LODGED IN YOUR HEAD." My grip tightened around my bow, pure venom fuelling my words.

After a few seconds, Venti came down from the hands of the statue and hovered before me. As I thought, his eyes were glowing purple again and the beautiful green of his braids was the same purple. His eyes bore into me, his lazy gaze slightly unsettling.

"How messed up in the head are you," my voice shook with the sheer amount of emotion I was portraying, "That you would leave people in a flaming building to burn to death? And a bloody child as well!" In that moment, even if I didn't fully mean it, I prayed that the Archon of Eternity would give him an eternity's worth of debt.

When he answered me, his tone of voice shook me to the bone, "The Mondstadt I created was free of a ruler or Government. The Knights of Favonius have become too oppressive to allow."

What nonsense! He showed no remorse! I couldn't believe this was Venti!

"You stand against me in my journey to return freedom to the people of Mondstadt. You are an obstacle that must be removed. Step aside now and I may show you mercy. Remain on my path and you will die."

I looped my bow over my shoulder and unsheathed my sword. My hands grasped the hilt tightly, my knuckles turning white.

"So be it," Venti said, looking down on me with a smirk, "I had high hopes for you."

I let out a yell of rage and lunged towards him. My mind burned with a passion to show this man more justice than he would see in this lifetime. Venti blocked my slash with his bow, my metal blade flush against his wood handle. The impact of this pushed me back and Venti took this as his chance to attack.

Rising up into the air, he pulled a shining purple arrow taut against his bow string, before firing it at me. Just before it hit me, it changed and became a gaping black vortex.

Sucked towards it, I felt myself being picked up in the air, towards this flying vortex. The wind whirled around, making me feel sick and dizzy. The waves of air were like knives and they slashed through my clothes and my skin. My white top and grey shorts quickly became flecked with bright red blood as the vortex disappeared and I dropped to the ground, a sickening 'crack' coming from my elbow. Pulling my hand away from my aching shoulder, I saw red. My hand was bloodied from a deep cut to my shoulder.

Drained of my strength, I used my sword to pull me up onto my now shaky, bloody, bruised knees. I looked up to see Venti conjuring a mass of purple light in his hand, before running at me to strike me with it.

{A/n: I love y'all, but this was the only half decent cliffhanger I could think of putting in here, I didn't want to miss out. Sorry, for being dead this week, I just now had some time to update!}
