[A month later...]
Life was back to normal. Well, as normal as it could get when the love of your life has just been cured of corruption and has come back from the dead pretty much.
The citizens of Mondstadt were asleep at the time of the incident, and the Knights of Favonius understood that Venti was not fully in control of himself, so his status as an Archon, a God, Barbatos, was not ruined in the eyes of the people.

A small whine came from behind me. Laughing to Amber and Kaeya, who were sat beside me on the bench, I turned to face the source of the noise.
Venti sat beside me, his arms outstretched.
"Y/nnnnn when can I have a hug?" he whined.
I giggled and pulled him close to me.
I whispered into his hair.
"Needy boy."
Venti huffed and pouted, "Meanie."
I laughed quietly, my lips against his hair, "Love you too."
He smiled up at me, "How did I get so lucky?"
I smiled, and this time it reached my eyes. My scars were still there, mentally and physically, but having Venti near made the pain fade, even if just a little bit.
"How did I get so lucky?"

I will be no longer posting for quite a while, I am going to start writing another fic, either a Kazuha, Scara, Heizou or Xiao (x Reader)! I will mainly be writing for either Female or Gender Neutral readers, because that is what I feel most comfortable with. Once I finish a fic, it'll be back to posting as usual!
This has been such an amazing experience, thank you to everyone who supported me with this first fic of mine! I'm so glad you stuck to the end and I hope that when the next fic comes out, you all will do so again!
