In Singapore, Ootani Taro makes his speech to the "Sunglasses" Board of Directors. While everyone is expecting his acceptance of the position as new director of the Singapore office, he announces his own renunciation. In the evening, during the following cocktail party that was supposed to be in his honor, he braves a couple of beers and finally writes a text message to his wife that he has refused the new position in Singapore. Surprisingly, she replies that she understands, and wishes him a safe journey home.

In Tokyo, the last therapy session seems to begin on a serene note, but Dr. Bertini knows that there is still one last step to go, and he invites those who want to to tell a ghost story.
