Elle POV

"I miss you," Charles says over the phone.

"You saw me earlier on,'

"I know, but us having to be separated because we're getting married in two days doesn't sit right with me," he speaks.

"It's tradition," Kika says.

"Screw tradition I want to be beside Elle,'he speaks.'You've banished me to Pierres,'

"You've got a stag do tonight,' I say,'Enjoy it while me Kika and your mum have a girls' night,"

"So much for the hen do you wanted," he jokes. "You'll have to celebrate after you give birth,' he whispers the last part so that nobody else that was around him could hear.

"I guess that's only fair, but either way, I'm going to have a good time. Kika has planned everything out,'

"Well, I hope you lot have a good night. I'll call you tomorrow only two more days until we see each other again."

"And if you don't cry when you see her, I'm turning her around, and she will not be coming back down the aisle you would have lost your chance,'

"No pressure then," he says "right Pierre is telling me I have to go. I love you,"

"I love you too," I say before hanging up.

"Let's get over to Pascales and start or night," kika says, causing me to nod.

We drive over to Pascales walking in seeing the setup for both tonight and the wedding.

"Everything looks so perfect," I say as she shows me the garden set up.

"It's even better than what I could have imagined," I smile, hugging Pascale. "Thank you for doing all of this," she shakes her head.

"No need to thank me. I'm just grateful you chose to get married here,'

"I couldn't think of anything better,"

"Now come on, let's start the night," she says, pulling me to the living room.

We switched on a movie as Kika did our face masks.

"You've got a little bump," Pascale says, touching my stomach.

"Yeah, I noticed yesterday it really came out of nowhere," I speak.

"It looks so cute,' Kika says,'lift your shirt I need to see.' I smiled, lifting it up, and the bump was only small, but you could now tell that I was pregnant.

Charles POV

Pierre kept his promise not to go overboard with the stag do the drivers were here and some of our other friends.

"I can't believe that you're getting married,' Joris says,'You seem really happy,'

"I am more than you could imagine," I say. "You've seen, You've been there,"

"Not all the time since our schedules don't align that much anymore,"

"Yeah, not since you made it big time," I say to him, earning a smile.

"I'll always be by your side, though no matter what, and you know that,"

"Indeed I do now come on, let's get drunk before you become a married man," he says, handing me a glass, which I happily take.

As much fun as I was having, all I was thinking about was Elle and our baby. I hated being away from her, but now that she's pregnant, it's like I don't want to leave them at all, not even for a minute. I guess what they say is true, and it really does mean your father instincts kick in pretty much straight away.

"Go on," Pierre says. "Call her. I know you want to,"

"I thought that I was supposed to be having fun and not think about her because she was also having fun without me,"

"I know I did, but you're in your head thinking about her. You can ring her. I'll give you five minutes," I shake my head.

"No, you're right. I don't want to take her way from whatever Kika has planned she deserves it just as much as I deserve this," I say, putting my phone back into my jeans pockets.

"You sure?" I nod.

"I'm sure now come on, let's have some fun, take my mind off them," he nods, leading me over to the table.

The night went by fast, full of drinking. I knew that I was going to have a really bad hangover in the morning, but I had a good time even though Elle didn't leave my thoughts.

"Charles, you're supposed to be having fun and not ringing me," Elles voice fills my ears as she finally answers the phone.

"I know, but I wanted to check on your two. Are you having fun,"

"I am. we are having fun. Does Pierre know you snuck out to ring me?"

"No, I told him I would ring, but I couldn't stop myself,' she laughs.

"As long as you're having a good night, that's all I care about."

"It would be a better night if I was sleeping next to you,"

"I could always sneak you past, Kika," she says, and I smile.

"I'm on my way," I didn't tell anyone I was leaving. I just got a taxi to the house and saw her standing by the door telling me to hurry up.

She kissed me, and we sneak to the room she was staying in, and I fall asleep next to her.
