Charles POV

"Arthur, can we talk," he nods, getting up from his seat, leaving Elle to speak to Oscar.

"Is everything alright?"

"You read your letter?" He nods."I read mine," I say, taking it from my pocket and handing it to him."Read the last few lines," he nods, reading then, then looks up at me.

"Jeffrey gave you his permission,"

"He did me, and Elle spoke about getting married if I win the championship I'm not sure if she still wants that after everything that's happened but I do even if I don't win," I say "and now he's given me full permission,"

"Don't stress about it she definitely still wants to marry you,"

"You think?"

"I know," he smiles, "maybe speak to her about it all just so that you're both on the same page,'he says. I nod.

"I think I need to,"

"Summer break is coming up, and you've still not made any plans," Elle says, sorting out the bed.

"I've made plans with you,"

"Coming home isn't plans," she smiles.

"What if we go somewhere just me and you then meet up with everyone after a week or so,'

"Where would we go?"

"Anywhere you want," she smiles, then turns to me.

"Would you like to come to New York with me?"

"New York?" She nods.

"When me and Kika were there, I realised you've never seen where I lived for those years I weren't here, any I think you'd like it,"

"I think New York is a good idea," I say, lying down her following my actions. "If I win the championship, do you still want to marry me?"

"Yes," she says, smiling. "I want to marry you if you win or don't," I bite my lip.

"You do?"

"Of course I do,"

"So the deal is still on?'

"It is unless you want to change your mind, then we can talk about it?" I shake my head.

"I was just making sure you hadn't changed your mind. I know you've been going through a hard time,"

"We all have my father wouldn't want me to get upset about it he'd want me to move on with my life, and I am with you,"

"I wouldn't want it any other way," I kiss her.

"You wanted us to meet here?" Pierre asks, walking up with Kika looking at me and Arthur.

"Was so bad about meeting up here?" I ask.

"It's a parking lot,'

"I didn't want anyone to see us," they all frown. Pierre turns to Arthur.

"Do you know why we're here?"

"No clue," he says, lifting his hands up.

"Just follow me," I say, turning my back on them, walking towards the door that lead into the shopping centre.

"It's not even open yet. How do you expect to get in?"

"I rang them yesterday they said they'll have it open for us," I pushed the door, and as promised, it was unlocked.

"I'm still not sure why we are here when it's not open,'

"Will you guys just have some patience," I say, shaking my head and heading to the shop I needed.

We walk into the jewelers, and I turn to them.

"I'm here to get Elle an engagement ring, and I need your help,' Kikas hand moves over her mouth as she gasps the two men smiling at me.

"You're going to ask her?"

"I am. I mean, yeah, she said she'd marry me after I win the championship, but I feel like I need to put a ring on her finger before then,' I say "besides that may never happen,"

"You're only a few points away from Max. I think this season may be the one,"

"Plus, you have extra motivation,"

"I can't believe my best friend is going to get married,' Kika says.'You have to do something for the proposal,"

"I'm thinking of it, don't worry, Kika. I'll be asking for your help," she smiles, "but for now, I just need your hand,'

"My hand,"

"You and Elle have the same ring size. I saw you both swapping rings last week,"

"Then my hands are at your service,"

"Please don't say that to him ever again," Pierre says, shaking his head.

We all chose a ring we each liked. Kika trying them on they were all perfect and all Elles style.

"I can't decide," I say. "They are all perfect,"

"Maybe get one that has all of the components that we chose into one,"

"I don't see one like that here,"

"We can get one made for you," the cashier says. "It also wouldn't take the long about two weeks,"

"That's possible to have everything we like in these rings into one?"

"It's is our designer is very talented and would be able to make you the perfect ring,"

"Then it's sorted well. Write down all the components we'd like,' she nods, handing us a pen and paper.

"At least it gives you time to think about how you're going to propose without having to hide the ring from her," Pierre says.

"You're right," I nod. "I can't believe this is really happening. I'm going to ask Elle to marry me,'
