Elle POV

"This place is beautiful. I've always wanted to come here," Kika says as we drive through Seattle.

"It really is. I've never been here before," we arrive at the hotel, and we thank the driver for grabbing our stuff.

"Wow," I say, looking around the hotel lobby. This is possibly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.

"I can't wait to see our rooms,"

"Let me get us checked in," she nods as I walk over to the receptionists.

"Hi, I've got a reservation under the name Beaumont,"

"Miss Beaumont, lovely to have you joining us,"

"It's a pleasure to be here," she smiles at me and hands me two pass keys.

"Have a lovely stay if you need anyhrong don't hesitate to call front desk,"

"Thank you," I say, walking back over to Kika and handing her over the pass.

~~~~~~~
Kika said she wanted to get some sleep, which was fine with me because all this travelling tired me out.
I look over to the door as I hear a knock. Maybe she forgot something. I walked over, opening it smiling as I saw the man in front of me.
"Dad," I say, wrapping my arms around him instantly.
"I've missed you, Tink," I smile at the nickname.
When I was younger, I had an obsession finding things and trying to make them into something or fix things that were broken and being blonde matched the whole vibe, so my dad called me Tinkerbell.
"I've missed you two. How come you didn't tell me you were coming," he walks into the room.
"That would ruin the suprise, wouldn't it? I spoke to Pascale to get the hotel information,"
"I'm glad you're here,"
"How've you been?"
"The same as we last spoke,"
"You and Charles going strong?"
"We are. I'm really happy,"
"I can tell. All I've ever wanted for my little girl is for you to be happy. What about Arhur? Have you spoken yet?" I shake my head.
"Radio silence," he sighed, wrapping his arm around my shoulders and pulling me into him.
"You and Arhur were each others shadows it won't be like this forever. Something will bring you together again,"
"I hope do I miss him,"
"He probably misses you too,"
"How long are you staying for?"
"A couple days I thought I'd watch you perform," I smile at him.
"I might have to change my set list,"
"Yeah, no more songs about Charles put some in about me, will you,"
~~~~~~~~

"Your dad is a dilf," Kika says next to me, earning me to hit her leg.

"I knew you were into older men but leave my dad out of it,"

"I'm just saying he is,"

"I hate you,"

"You love me,"

My dad walks back to the table, passing us the drinks he had bought.

"This is your only drink,"

"Dad, I'm not a kid anymore. I'm old enough to drink,"

"I don't care your my little girl Tink,"

"Whatever you say," I roll my eyes playfully.

"I'm excited to see you perform later on. It's been a while since I've seen you up on that stage,"

"I'll make sure to give it my best,"

"That's all you ever do,"

~~~~~~~
"Charles, it's good to see you," my dad says over facetime. Charles gave me a call before he got into the car, and I started my show like he did every night.
"Hopefully, next time, it'll be face to face," Charles says. "we need to have a catch-up,"
"Yes, we do. Don't worry. I'm going to take more time off so I can spend time with Elle,"
"I beat get going it was nice speaking to you, Jeffery,"
"You too Charles good luck," My dad leaves us to say our goodbyes in private.
"You seem happy," I say to him.
"I like it when your dad's around," I smile, knowing there's a deeper meaning to that. My dad took Charles and Arthur under his wing when Herve passed just like Pascale did with me when my mother passed away.
"So do I, you got to go ill speak to you soon I love you,"
"I love you chéri,"
~~~~~~~

I sang my heart out. I knew he was out there watching, so i dedicated my performance to him.

I exit the stage for our break and see him smiling at me, opening his arms for me to hug him, which I do.

His grip tightens on me, and I feel him falling.

"Dad?" I say, pulling back his hand, moved up to his chest as he fell to the ground, Kikas eyes going wide.

"Dad!" I shout Kika rushes to the medics as I drop to my knees beside him. "Dad!" I say, shaking him slightly, his eyes were shut. I couldn't tell if he was breathing or not. "Daddy, please wake up," I say, tears falling from my eyes. The medics reach us, and Kika takes me in her arms as they rip his shirt open.

"We need to get him to a hospital," he lifted him onto a stretcher. My stage manager cancels the rest of the show as I make my way to the ambulance kika by my side.
