Chapter 2: Helping Hand

"Morning less" I said as she walked into my kitchen

"Morning Harley" Alessia yawned

"Goods night sleep?" I laughed slightly

"I'm glad I took your offer now" Alessia smiled sitting down at the island

"What would you like for breakfast?" I smiled at her

"Whatever your having, I don't really mind"

I made her a bacon sandwich and then sat down opposite her

"So what have we gotta do today?" I made conversation

"I don't really like the colour of my bedroom so I thought we could paint that, I need some pictures put in but I don't know how to do that and then just build some furniture" Alessia said

"I know how to put pictures in so I could do that and putting furniture together isn't that hard" I smiled at her

We finished our food and then made our way over to her flat.

"Right let's get started then" I said clapping my hands

"What music do you want on?" Alessia said

"I don't mind it's up to you" I smiled as I lifted some packages into her living room.

"Shall we paint my room first so it can dry?"

"Yeah sure, what colour did you pick?" I asked as we made our way to her bedroom

"Cream colour, makes the room look more cosy" Alessia said as she opened her bedroom door

"Yeah that's the colour I have, looks better then just plain white" i smiled grabbing one of the tubs and starting to paint

We finished painting her room after two hours or so

"Where do you want your pictures to be placed?" I asked looking at the ones she got as we stood in the main part of her flat

"The little ones I want in the hall as you walk in and then the bigger ones I want in my bedroom and living room"

"The little ones are pictures of your friends arnt they?" I said as I lifted one up

"Yeah, most from united actually"

"I see some photos of you in a ucla kit, did you play football over there?"

"Yeah I did for a few years with Lotte actually"

"No way I went but went to a different college around the same time maybe a year after" i smiled at her

"Did you enjoy it?"

"Yeah but felt homesick a lot, don't like spending a lot of time away from home and specially that far away"

"I was the same for a little while but got settled in fairly quickly" Alessia smiled

I moved to pick up a few of them and made my way to the hall

"So where do you want them placed"

Alessia came over and stood behind me, she pointed to the spot in front of me

"And then I kinda want them to look like a collage if that's okay? Alessia stepped away from me

"Yeah of course, why don't I do these as you go and build some of the furniture to make it quicker?" I suggested

After a while Alessia came back and stood and watched me for a while

"Taking a break?" I teased

Alessia laughed and continued to watch me
