Chapter 21: Return

"No god no less" I said stepping away from her

"I don't want to add extra pressure" less said looking guilty, i closed the gap and kissed her

"Please less, your not" I said

"You'll tell me if it gets to much won't you?" She asked

I nodded "of course less" I reassured her

'I don't come to watch her ruin my club'

'Dunno how less is still with her at this point'

'She's destroying arsenal'

'What is wrong with her? A cheater and can't keep her anger?'

'Do we know if less is still with her?'
~> 'they were pictured a few days ago together, pretty sure they are still together'
~> 'Why would less stay with a slut like Harley?'

'Destroying arsenal... if she loved arsenal she'd leave'

'Think her time at arsenal is quickly coming to an end'
~> 'good get her out of my club'

'Losing her shit like that... what a child'

I sighed as I placed down my phone, reading through all the comments about me destroying this club

Are they right? Is this what the fans think of me?

Alessia walked in and lifted my phone up

"I told you not to read any of it" Alessia scolded me

"Is this what people think" I sighed looking down at my hands

I burst out into tears

"Why? Why did this have to happen... why me" I said lifting my hands to my face

Alessia turned my chair and wrapped her hands around my neck pulling me into her so my head rested on her stomach

"I don't know why harls, but we are gonna get it sorted out, okay?"

"I don't want to play football anymore" i said wiping my tears

"This is just a rough patch, take some time away from it and when you come back the fans will love you again" Alessia whispered running her hand down my back

"Come on you have a meeting with Jonas"

"Hello Harley" jonas said as I walked into his office

"Morning jonas" I smiled sitting down

"I want to apologise, I didn't mean to use it during the spurs match. A lot of things happen before that match and I guess I just snapped. I should have spoken to you about it before hand" I apologised

"I have social media to Harley" Jonas laughed

"Look I'm not saying your actions were correct but me and my team understand what you had to go through leading up to the game. We've talked to the board about your red card and you'll miss two games" jonas nodded

"Thanks boss, maybe sometime away from the game will do some good. I promise I won't let you down" I nodded standing up

Jonas stood up and walked round from his desk

He pulled me into a hug

"Your human too Harley, maybe me and my team should have realised it might have not been best to play you against spurs with everything that has happened. Take the two match ban as a break and once your allowed to play we will get you straight back into the games" jonas whispered tapping my back, pulling away

I nodded saying thank you before leaving his office

I walked to the dinning hall, where all the girls were, I walked up to where less was seating

I put my hands in her shoulder, which made her look up at me

"How long?" She asked softly

"Two matches, jonas said enjoy the break and then I'll be straight back into things" I nodded smiling

"How many weeks two?"

"No one, we've got a match in a few days and then one at the end of the week"

"A break might be good" Beth said , making me look at her

I nodded "yeah I think it's all got to much" I said honestly

'Harley Brown will serve a two match ban after the red card in the spurs match.  This will give her time to take a break away from football and social media. Football has always been her getaway but recently she has felt like it's been a chore that she had to do. Hate isn't welcome anywhere. Recently rumours have come out about Harley causing a lot of hate on social media. Harley and the people involved have confirmed it's false rumours. Please don't believe everything you see online.

Harley will be back for the game against City, we want to hear support from you gunners durning her break and when she is back ❤️🤍'

I read through what arsenal had posted

Immediately clicking in the comments and seeing love instead of hate

Smiling down at my phone as another notification came through

'Hey gunners! Recently rumours have been flying around about Harley cheating on me. Normally I don't post things about my private life but since it's been invaded already I might as well post the truth. Straight to the point... the rumours are false. Harley has been nothing but loyal to me ever since she met me. Yes it's true that a girl tried to get Harley to cheat on me but Harley didn't and wouldn't ever.  Following those rumours people took to social media and sent hate comments to her. She tried her best to avoid them but simply couldn't with how much she had received. Following that Harley got a red in the spurs match which caused that hate comments to increase even more. It's been hard for her recently so this break might be good for her. Hate comments arnt allowed anywhere. Let's show love instead of hate gunners!! We as a team want to hear you loud against City when Harley returns, show her the love she's been missing recently.

Alessia came and stood behind me, wrapping her hands around my back as I read out her Instagram post

"Thank you" I whispered looking up at her

Alessia smiled and leaned down kissing me

"She's one of our own... she's one of our own... Harley Brown... she's one of our own" the arsenal fans chanted as we walked around the stadium clapping them

One of the media guys came and filmed me as the fans sang my chant

I tapped the arsenal badge on my shirt before saying " I love you gunners"
