Chapter 17: Ghosted?

" We've got... Lessi Russo" I chanted as we all walked out of the changing rooms

"Chanting your girlfriends song yeah?" Katie teased

"Of course" I smirked

"How are you and Caitlin anyways?" I asked Katie

"Yeah good, going on a date in a few days"

"Hmm"

"What you thinking about?" Katie asked knowing me very well

"I want to take Alessia out tonight but I've never really taken her out... do I just ask her to go on a date or what?" I asked

"Yeah simply as that, just ask if she would like to go out on a date tonight" Katie shrugged

Alessia and Leah walked up to us

"What are you two talking about?" Leah asked putting me into a headlock, which caused a reaction out of me

"Wow wow calm down" Leah teased while laughing as I carried on trying to wiggle out of it

I made her fall over bringing me and her down but was worth it since she got soaked and I got out of the headlock

"Training hasn't even started and look at me already" Leah complained

"Don't be such a baby, Williamson" I teased running off to vic

It was later on in the training session and we had all broke off into our positions groups, strikers practicing shooting and defenders practicing tackling and controlling the back line

Less was stood in front of me watching Beth take some shots

I went up to her and wrapped my arms around her shoulders from behind, she lifted her hands up to rest on my arms

"You okay" she asked softly

"Mhm" i mumbled, focusing on Beth's shooting practice

After a while I decided it would be the right time to ask Alessia on a date

"Less, would you like to go on a date with me?"

"Of course I would, when?" Less said looking up at me

"Tonight?"

"Sure, where we going?"

"That little Italian restaurant that we've been to for lunch with the girls once" I said

"Oh yeah, I know where your talking about"

"What time" Alessia added

"6:30?" I asked

"Sounds perfect, can't wait" less said smiling up at me again

"HARLEY!" Beth shouted ruining the moment

I moved my eyes to Beth

"Yes Beth"

"Come do some shooting practice with me" Beth said showing me the ball

"Alright coming" I sighed removing my arms from less and making my way over

"What was you and Russo talking about"

"You" I said trying to sound serious

"What really"

"Deadly seriously"

"Shut up idiot!" Beth said laughing, catching on I was lying

"Nah seriously, I asked her out on a date tonight"

"Cute where?" Beth asked

"Not telling you, you'll come and try ruin it" I laughed, lining up a shot

"Me! Never!" Beth laughed
