It turns out, the four Pevensies were the kings and queens of Narnia and Cair Paravel was their home. They also mentioned something about a talking lion named Aslan, fighting the White Witch and entering a wardrobe. I'll be lying if I said that I wasn't confused but their story was a lot to take in. After the whole explanation, we decided to walk around to look for things that weren't destroyed. My head was still processing the whole story and I wasn't really paying attention to where I was walking that I stubbed my toe on a rock. Edmund came to see if I was fine and then something just changed in the expression of his face. He knelt down beside the rock and seemed to be examining it.

Edmund: Catapults?

Peter: What?

Edmund: This didn't just happen. Cair Paravel was attacked.

Then I noticed Peter look at a wall and started walking there. Edmund followed and us three girls were all confused but still followed them. The boys started removing the vines and leaves on the wall and started pushing the wall which revealed a wooden door. Peter used Ed's pocket knife to bread the lock of the door and kicked it open. Peter then tore a part of his uniform and started wrappimg it around a branch.

Peter: I suppose you have matches with you?

Edmund: No, but would this help?

He said and took out his torch from his bag.

Peter: You might have mentioned that a bit sooner.

We all laughed and then Edmund took my hand and led the way since he had the torch. When we reached the bottom, I sad four chests with statues of kings and queens behind each chest which I supposed were the four Pevensies.

Peter: I can't belive it. They're all still here.

Lucy ran towards her chest and so did Edmund and Susan.

Lucy: I was so tall.

Susan: Well, you were older then.

Edmund: As supposed a hundred years later...when you were older.

I saw that Ed was wearing a helmet which was too big for him and he looked so funny.

Lucy: What is it?

Susan: My horn. I must have left it on my saddle the day we went back.

Then everyones attention were turned to Peter who just opened his chest and took out his sword. I was expecting it to be rusty but when he unsheathed the sword, it was good as new.

Peter: When Aslan bears his teeth, winter meets its death...'

Lucy: 'When he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.' Everyone we knew...Mr. Tumnus and the Beavers...are all gone.

I place a hand on Lucy's arm to comfort her and gave her a comforting smile.

Peter: I think it's time we find out what's happening here. We should also probably get changed.

Susan: Don't worry, Emily. We'll find something for you to wear.

Lucy: We're about the same size so I think I can find something for you.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Edmund headed towards us.

Edmund: Make sure she wears something green just like her eyes and because she looks good in green.

I found myself blushing because of this comment and I think he did too because he turned away really quick. This comment earned us some teasing and smirks from Lucy, Susan and Peter.

Me: Oh stop it you guys!
