Last night's event was still running through my mind. I hate the fact that today might be the day the Pevensies leave and Edmund is not talking to me. Believe me, I wanted to tell him the exact reason why I rejected him again. It just hurts me too much to tell him.I cried myself to sleep that night and Heather had to annoy me to get ready for the gathering Aslan requested. I couldn't even pay attention to the speech Caspian was saying. Then I felt someone pat me on the shoulder. I saw that it was Lucy.
Lucy: Are you alright?
Me: Yeah, just zoned out for awhile. Sorry but what's happening?
Lucy: Basically, it turns out the Telmarines were originally from and island in our world and Aslan is asking if any of them would want to got and start a new life there.
As soon as she said this, someone raised their hand.
Telmarine: I'll go. I will take the offering.
Lady: So will we.
They all went forward in front of Aslan.
Aslan: Because you spoke first, strong magic is upon you. Your future in that world shall be good.
Aslan breathed on them and the tree behind them started twisting and a doorway appeared, The three walked through the hole and they just disappeared. The court was suddendly filled with gasps and murmurs.
Man: How do we know he's not sending us to our deaths?
Then Reepicheep stepped forward.
Reepicheep: I may example can be of service sire, I'll take seven mice with no delay.
Peter: We'll go.
Edmund: We will?
Peter: C'mon, our time's up. Anyway we're no longer needed here.
He walked towards Caspian and handed him his sword.
Caspian: I will look after it until you return.
Susan: I'm afraid that's just it. We're not coming back.
Lucy: We're not?
Peter: You two are. At least that's what I think he means.
Lucy: Why? Did they do something wrong?
Aslan: Quiet the opposite, dear one. Your brother and sister have learned what they can from this world. Now it's time for them to live on their own.
Peter: It's alright, Lu. It's not how I thought it would be but it's alright. One day you'll see too.
They all walked to the other side to say goodbye. As for myself, I went beside Aslan.
Aslan: Are you alright, dear one?
Me: Mhm. Just a little sad that I wouldn't be seeing Peter and Susan anymore.
Aslan: Is it only that? I know that you had a fight with Edmund but I promise you that everything will be fine.
Then I saw all the Pevensies were all lined up to leave.
Lucy: Emily, c'mon, we're going.
I did not move form where I was standing and looked at Aslan who was already looking at me.
Aslan: I'm afraid that Emily won't be going back with the four of you. She has chosen to stay to know more about herself and her kind.
Lucy: Oh, Emily!
She ran towards me and hugged. Susan and Peter followed.
Susan: Why didn't you tell us?
Me: Sorry, I couldn't bring myself to tell you.
