Everything became quiet and all I could hear were the sounds of waves. I opend my eyes and saw that we were no longer on the train station; we were on a beach.
We all slowly walked forward and once we stopped, I looked to my left to see if any of the Pevensies had the same confused look as me. I saw that none of them looked confused at all. Edmund looked at me and then looked down. That's when I realized that I was still holding on to his hand and I quickly let go of it. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Lucy look at Susan with a big smile on her face and just started running to the water. Peter followed after them and then Edmund ran after Peter. I didn't feel like running so I just walked pass all the blazers, socks and shoes that the four left on the sand.Lucy: C'mon, Emily! You're missing all the fun!
Me: It's fine. I'll just watch from here.
Then I suddenly felt someone lift me from the ground and the next thing I knew, I was under water. As soon as I got up, I saw Edmund laughing the hardest which have me the idea that he was the one who threw me in the water.
Me: You're going to pay for that.
I started splashing water on him and running after him. Then I just saw him stop and I noticed that his siblings saw him stop as well.
Peter: Ed, what is it?
Edmund: Where do you suppose we are?
Peter: Well, where do you think?
Edmund: Well, I don't remember any ruins in Narnia.
We looked where he was looking at and saw ruins on top of a mountain. Narnia? So this is what this place is called. We were able to found a way to the ruins and saw that the place was full of apple trees. If I saw correctly, Lucy was already eating one. Edmund took my hand as he looked around the place. We went up a few flight of stairs and from up there, I could see a better view of the whole place.
Edmund: Let's go join the others.
I nodded and started walking down the steps. Being my clumsy self, I accidentally missed a step which sent both Edmund and me falling down the stairs. I had my eyes shut the whole time and when I opened my eyes, I saw that I landed on top of Edmund. I quickly got off him and I held out my hand to help him get up.
Me: I'm so sorry. I should have been more careful.
Edmund: It's okay. The important thing is that none of us got hurt.
When he said this, his face got so close to mine and I could feel myself blushing. Oh my gosh! Why do I keep on blushing around him?! Next thing I knew, I was looking once again in his dark hazel eyes that I have learned to love.
Edmund: Umm.... I think we should get going.
Me: Yeah, we should.
At this point, the both of us were blushing really hard. I can't belive that just happened! We finally spotted the others and I heard Lucy asking who lived here. When we got to them, I saw Susan holding something golden.
Edmund: Hey! That's mine. From my chess set.
Peter: Which chess set?
Edmund: Well I didn't exactly have a solid golden chess set in Finchley, did I?
Edmund took the chess piece from Susan and started examining it. I was about to ask a question when I saw Lucy running of, pulling Peter with her.
Lucy: Can't you see?
Peter: See what?
Lucy: Imagine the walls *positioning Peter in the middle* and columns there *positioning Susan beside Peter* and a glass roof.
I saw in their faces that they finally realized where they were.
Peter: Cair Paravel.
I was so confused with what was happening and I just had to ask the question that has been in my mind ever since we came here.
Me: I'm sorry but can someone please explain to me what is going on?
