Emily's POV

My head was throbbing with pain and my left arm was very sore. I slowly got up from the Stone Table and noticed  that my left arm was covered with bandages and was on a sling. I walked out of the room and used the wall as a support and when I reached the other room, I found the others sitting around the fire eating supper.  Lucy saw me first and I saw her tap Edmund's shoulder and pointed at me. As soon as Edmund saw me, he quickly ran towards me.

Edmund: What are you doing? You're not supposed to be walking. You should have just called me if you needed something.

He wrapped an arm around me and gently led me to where the others were seated. He helped me sit down and he sat down beside me.

Me: You are all the way on the other side of the How. How am I supposed to call you?

Edmund: Haha, very funny.

Peter: Even though you are badly injured, you still manage to lighten up the mood.

While saying this, he handed me a bowl of soup.

Peter: Look, Emily. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I was just so frustrated and angry with all that's happening. I also didn't mean it when I said that I wish we weren't friends. Will you forgive me?

Me: Of course I forgive you. How could I stay mad at you? I'm also sorry. I knew that you were worrying about many things and I shouldn't have said those comments which caused you that be more angry.

Peter: Actually those comments made me realize a few things. I'm somewhat thankful for those comments.

This made everyone laugh.

Me: I also didn't mean it when I said I hate you. How could I hate you, you're like a brother to me.

I used my good arm to hug Peter.

Peter: Go eat so you can regain your energy.

Once we finished eating, we spent a lot of time talking, not talking about the war but about the Pevensies'  adventures here in Narnia. While we were talking, the same centaur from last night approached us.

Centaur: Will you play a song for us again, Miss?

Me: I would love to but... *lifting my left arm*

Edmund: Then I'll play.

He stood up to get my guitar.

Susan: Did you have that when we went here?

Me: No, I didn't. It just appeared out of nowhere.

Edmund sat down again beside me with the guitar.

Me: So, what did you want to play?

Edmund: Let me see.

He looked up and started at one place. He does this  a lot when he thinks and I can't help thinking that he looks so cute every time he does this.

Edmund: I know... I'm sure you know this.

He started playing the guitar and I immediately knew what the song was.

Edmund: Wise men say only fools rush in

But I can't help falling in love with you

Me: Shall I stay?

Would it be a sin

Both: If I can't help falling in love with you?

Me: Like a river flows surely to the sea
