》》Isis《《
I woke up and the sun was starting to go down. I rubbed my eyes and check the time on my phone.
7:30.
My mind was somewhat foggy from the events earlier but I'm pretty certain I had a panic attack. That was so sudden and scary I hope that nevers happens again. I looked around my room, illuminated by the setting sun. It felt so peaceful. I finally got all of that shit out of my system and got a killer nap in.
Isis: 1.
The sound of glass shattering downstairs interrupted the serene silence. I'm sure Yeonjun or his friends can clean that up themselves. I leaned back onto my bed taking a deep breath.
"What the fuck do you mean and you didn't tell me?!" Yeonjun's voice was heard. Well, that sounded hostile.
I got up and opened my door. Only now did I realize how loud the voices downstairs were yelling. I crept closer to the stairs trying to eavesdrop.
"Okay, I'll admit it probably was something we should have kept from you but-" A voice said. Who is that?
"But what? There isn't shit you can say to justify that. That's my sister! She's not supposed to be exposed to that." Yeonjun bit back. I could tell that he was furious. I heard someone scoff.
"You think the we exposed her to that life?" A different voice asked. My eyes widened. Oh no...
I quickly stepped down the stairs before anything else could be said. I stopped a couple steps from the floor.
"Yeonjun? What's going on?" I asked cautiously. I looked around the living room and suddenly wished I'd never come downstairs. All of Enhypen, San, Wooyoung, Beomgyu, joined Yeonjun in standing around, tension cutting like a butcher knife. Beomgyu walked over to me, blocking my way.
"Hey are you okay?" He asked concerned.
"Yeah, I'm fine. What's going on? I heard yelling."
"No we're just talking. Go back upstairs, we're just—"
"Finally, the girl of the hour." Jay said sarcastically. I rolled my eyes.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, suddenly annoyed, stepping down another step, trying to step around Beomgyu's tall frame.
"Gyu." Yeonjun called motioning him to step away from me. "Come here Isis." I really don't like where it is going...
I took slow, controlled steps towards Yeonjun avoiding the eyes of everyone in the room.
"Yes?" I asked with a smile. His eyes focused on mine causing my smile to leave my face immediately.
"I'm not fucking laughing, Isis. Why didn't you tell me?" I opened my mouth to answer but quickly stopped. Which secret are we talking about here?
"Um, can I get a little bit more context?"
"Context? Are you serious? How's this for context? Getting kidnapped? Ring a bell?" Oh that's it. I sighed in relief.
"Well, I'm fine now, does it really matter anymore?"
"Yes, Isis! It matters. That's gang racing, what were you even doing down there?" He began to interrogate.
"Yeah, Misty, what were you doing down there?" Jay asked antagonizing.
"Jay." Jungwon said as a warning. I swiveled around and quickly walked up to Jay.
"Can you shut the fuck up for two seconds?" I said inches from his face.
"Just trying to see if you'd lie again." He had an annoying smirk on his face I felt the strong urge to wipe off of his face.
