Physiology: Ahtal-Ka is a large insect-like monster, somewhat resembles a devil's flower mantis in appearance and her color scheme is similar to that of a classic egyptian pharaoh or better yet queen Cleopatra. She looks like an insectoid sphinx. The majority of her body is gold. She has six limbs, each of which are yellow and two of which are raptorial; at the end of the main legs are small tarsi/feet while the forelegs have elaborate wing-like extensions at the base and have a pair of large hooks at the end. She has a large headpiece that has alternating gold and blue lines similar to a pharaoh's crown. She has a pair of purple eyes, each with a miniscule black pupil like every mantis.
Her "walking fortress", the Empress' Throne is a towering war machine crudely assembled by scrap metal, debris from ruins, and her own silk. The machine is quadrupedal is structure, with its "head" vaguely reminiscent of a wyvern's and a tail tipped with a spike. Ahtal-Ka's silk is visible through gaps in the joints and armor plating, and allows her to control the movement of her creations like a marionette. While controlling the Empress' Throne, Ahtal-Ka herself is covered in a silken cocoon hidden in the "chest" of the robot.
Behavior: She is a highly aggressive mantis, known to take out attackers with no mercy.
Abilities: Ahtal-Ka compensates her lack of physical strength with cunning, using the golden silk she produces to bind to her back some steel beams she throws at enemies. Even without them, she is a dangerous opponent which attacks with her sharp claws and produces a pheromone that lowers the attackers defense.
When cornered, she uses the silk to pull out the ground the massive Empress' Throne, inside which she hides and controls like a puppet to crush foes. She takes advantage of the physical strength of her creation, stomping the legs on the ground to generate quakes they sends hunters flying or shooting silk from the cocoon in the center of the machine.
Why she is my favorite? -she is a mantis -if she was in Sunbreak, she would personify mummies and Cleopatra herself. -her fight is more enjoyable than the Seltas pair and she is more well designed that Vespoid Queen. -her weapons are well made and have the highest sharpness ever, useful against tougher monsters. -she uses the Anti-Dragon weapon, which was a mech build by wyvernians to combat Elder dragons like Fatalis.
