In the dimly lit theater, the atmosphere was tense. Sam handed each of you a brick, but you where overwhelmed and teary-eyed, couldn't find her voice.

"Ready? I need you guys to be ready, are you ready?" Sam implored, trying to rally your spirits.

You and Tara couldn't reply with words, the fear had paralyzed you, but you gave a slight nod, your eyes locked onto Sam.

"Look at me!" Sam demanded, forcing your gaze back to her. Tara, with mascara streaking down her face, whispered, "I'm ready," showing remarkable resilience despite her tears.

You nodded in agreement, unable to speak, but your determination was clear.

"Come on, motherfucker!" Tara roared, displaying an impressive level of courage.

You admired her strength; without Sam and Tara by your side, you weren't sure you could have faced this horror.

Suddenly, two gunshots shattered the already tense silence. Panicked, you all ducked, trying to discern the source of the gunshots.

It was Kirby, covered in blood and clearly injured.

"It's okay," she gasped, struggling to reassure you. "Stay the fuck back!" Sam yelled, still convinced that Kirby was the threat. "We know it's you, Kirby!" Tara accused, suspicion and fear in her voice.

"One of them knocked me out," Kirby explained, her words choked with desperation.

You believed her; unlike Sam and Tara, you trusted Kirby's words.

"Kirby, stop! Get away from the girls," a voice shouted from behind you. It was Detective Bailey, his gun trained on Kirby. Kirby, still holding her gun, faced off against Bailey.

"What are you doing?" Kirby questioned him, confusion etched across her face.

"Did you kill Quinn? Did you kill my daughter?" Bailey accused, his voice laced with anger and grief.

"Jesus Christ! Whatever he's been saying to you, don't believe him. He's probably the killer," Kirby implored, her eyes pleading for you to trust her.

Suddenly, Ghostface emerged from the shadows behind Bailey. "Behind you!" Kirby shouted, trying to warn Bailey.

Bailey fired his weapon, the gunshot echoing through the theater. You looked at Bailey in disbelief; the realization that he was the real Ghostface hit you like a sledgehammer. You had known all along that those crocodile tears didn't fool you.

"I told you," you whispered to Sam and Tara, your faith in Kirby vindicated.

"Great job," Bailey praised the Ghostface next to him, further confirming your worst suspicions.

Not only was there one Ghostface; another one appeared from the shadows. "Both of you," Bailey said, addressing them, his tone almost proud.

"You!" Tara said in disbelief, realizing that a police detective could be one of the Ghostfaces. "Yeah, of course me," Bailey admitted with a sinister grin.

"Frankly, I expected more from the two of you after what you did to us," he taunted, referencing Sam and Tara.

You furrowed your brows in confusion. "What do you mean, 'us'?" Tara asked, equally perplexed.

The larger Ghostface removed their mask, revealing their face. You gasped, covering your mouth with your hands in shock. It was Ethan, the person you had trusted and loved, under the Ghostface mask. The shock of this revelation felt like a stab to the heart.

"Ta-da," Bailey exclaimed, taking pleasure in the chaos. "Told you." Tara mocked you. "Mindy was right; it was easy to juke the roommate lottery."

Your mind was spinning with questions. You felt a mixture of sadness and anger, not only for failing to believe Mindy but also for falling in love with Ethan's deceptive façade.
