Burrow East Aron Royal High School, known as BEAR High for short, is where me and Skyve attended classes. I quite enjoyed the academics there and Skyve was fairly popular, he didn't seem to care much for learning. I tutored him sometimes when we had an upcoming test. We were both in the top class for everything, personally I think we were the only ones in there who didn't pay the school for it.  Most people who weren't fully fledged friends with Skyve didn't like me, most didn't quite understand me and others were mad I was always around Skyve.

Most guys seemed to take a liking to me, purely because of looks and status, being known as one of the only effortlessly hot girls in our year. I was super smart, filthy rich, hung out with the popular kids and conventionally attractive, what was there not to love. I left out my personality intentionally there. I was pretty much silent for the most part during my school days, only speaking up around people who I knew were proper friends of Skyve. I often got compliments on my voice when people heard it for the first time which I took wholeheartedly.

Hand in hand, we walked through the front school gate and he stopped so I could climb onto his back. He swiftly swung me round to his front, unlatching my book bag from my shoulders, carrying both me and two heavy school bags into the school. "Ayyy wassup, got the missus I see.." This guy was Skyve and I's friend Xander. We instantly hit it off when Skyve introduced us both. I liked that he seemed genuinely nice and had a likeable persona, compared to the rest of Skyve's fans. I personally had never put up with fanboys or fangirls, I just shrugged them off and they soon got bored, there are much more interesting people than me out there.

"Yeah, gotta take care of the lady you know, she's my everything after all." I felt myself slowly drifting back to sleep. "Love- don't go back to sleep.. I had a hard enough time trying to get you awake this morning…" I opened my eyes, and lent into his chest. "I know, I know.." he always knew exactly what I was thinking. "I really cannot do PE right now." He chuckled and pecked me on the bridge of my nose. "At least you've got your break straight after, we could go and see that bird you were on about on Friday if you want." My eyes lit up and I smiled gleefully at him.

One of his fangirls ran up and glared at me while talking with Skyve. Her name was Cera, she was pretty, rich but she acted dumb thinking it made her cute. That sent a lot of guys off her trail. "See you're not wearing makeup today Miila." She snarled under her breath, none of the boys ever caught on with her comments, I fully understood. "I feel like you should be focusing more on your face Cera, it's caked all over." I grinned and I saw a flash of disgust shine across her face before returning to her unpleasantly disturbing fake self.

"So Skyve.. I was wondering if you wanted to come over to my place tonight, get a bit of one on one time.." I had no idea what she was on about but I was just hoping Skyve would say no, I was staying over at his tonight, I wanted someone to cuddle. "Sorry, can't. I got this cutie sleeping in my bed tonight." He laughed and kissed my forehead, pressing his against mine. "I was scared you were gonna say yes then, I need someone to cuddle or I'll be cold." His face lit up scarlet red and Xander struggled to contain his howls at my innocence while Cera stood there in pure shock at what was happening. "Sky.. are you alright, you're hot and your face is red.."

Xander once again passed away due to extreme cackling while Cera seemed to recoup herself and returned her jaw to its normal position. "Yes Mi, I'm fine, don't worry," he sniggered and he smiled at me, drawing circles on my back with his thumb. "You know you are hot, whether you're red or not." His grin dropped and I questioned what she had just said. I believe that Skyve had taken notice of this and explained it to me, "She means that I am attractive, Mila." I could finally make another addition to my growing dictionary of slang vocabulary that kids my age used.

"It's not like she's lying. And I've seen more than she has." Xander wiped away his tears from his hysterical fit as Cera stormed away, enraged by my words. Some people just couldn't understand that I didn't know what I was saying was sexual or romantic, and she didn't understand that Skyve liked me, not her. We left the halls to head to our next class, Skyve escorted me and Xander to PE while he exited towards the science quarter.
