Sweat dripped down my flame red face as Xander passed over his towel. "Maybe you should use the shower, you're quite sweaty.."
Xander watched carefully as I wiped the overwhelming amount of obnoxious body fluids off of my face. "Yeah maybe." I folded the hand towel and shuffled it back towards him. I dove into the side room and undressed myself, slipping on my bikini, quickly rinsing myself off in the bitter freezing cold water.

Me and Xander got changed in the same room as I didn't feel comfortable around the girls in my year. Honestly, I don't think Xander had ever cared because it just meant he got to spend time with me. "Xandy, can I ask you about something? Skyve wouldn't tell me about it." He looked over at me while swiftly putting his shirt back on and sitting on the bench while I tied up my shoes.

"Yeah sure, I'll probably understand." Xander looked into my eyes and then lent in to tie my tie as Skyve had told him I didn't know how to. "So before I was eating breakfast.." I had to make sure to twist my story a bit, I didn't want him to know I had been dreadfully upset, "and I was situated on Skyve's lap... I politely asked him to move his belt because it was pretty uncomfortable and he said he couldn't and started laughing slightly."

Xander's face turned to an appalled stance and he turned his head away and smirked. "It was probably just his bone, maybe you were on one leg too much so the bone felt uncomfy." I accepted this answer and realised I was being ridiculous, thinking over something so simple too much. "Ah thank you, it was playing on my mind all day." He hugged me lightly then knelt down close to me and buttoned my final button. "It was undone.."

"Skyve!!" I ran towards him with the widest grin possible as I dived straight into his open arms. He rubbed his nose against mine and his smile shone across the room. He lightly bit me on the tip of my nose and my cheeks turned to a rosy red. He gently put me down and brushed down my risen skirt. "I missed you Sky!" I hugged him close and he looked down at me. I bit my lip and made my signature smirk. "Why are you smiling at me like that?" He spoke playfully and lightly tapped my lips. I moved onto my phalanges so I was almost face to face with Skyve. He clutched my waist to help me stay upright and I planted a kiss on his cheek.

"Lil' cutie."

Most people had turned to look at us in shock that we had just kissed each other but not on the lips. I had never had my first kiss, Skyve had with one of his ex girlfriends, but he broke up with her because she hated me and hit me. That was about three years before this whole incident. He had always put me before everyone else, even his parents or Thea. In the books I read I was fascinated by the idea of soulmates. In my own head I always referred to Skyve as my soulmate. I wanted to start reading more books that Skyve wouldn't approve of, so I could understand modern slang and norms better.

Recently, I read a book that suggested a first kiss on the lips is very special. I wanted Skyve to be my first kiss, and I didn't want to wait any longer. In my head, I devised a plan but from my novels, I know it's best not to plan things. I also discovered that kissing was considered romantic, why did Skyve never tell me that part?

The rest of the day was boring. I didn't manage to finish or even start my lunch, but it wasn't an issue because during lunch me and Skyve shared food, so my food was his food. I was allowed to eat whatever I wanted off of the plate.
