Vampire Bucky A/U

I know there are a TON of stories, different lore's and ideas about vampires, but this is my take on one.

Anything that is italicized are Bucky's thoughts.

"Can I get you anything else?" you asked the freakishly handsome man sitting in your corner booth.

Just you.

"No thanks sweets, just the bill," he winked at you.

Your stomach fluttered.

His voice was perfect, low, and silky; you could listen to him forever.

"Be right back with it then" you smiled, clearing his plate.

You wandered over to the cash register and grabbed the bill before heading back to the table to drop it off. You smiled at the man and went to place the bill on the table when he reached out, his long slender fingers brushing yours.

You noticed his fingers were cool, and surprisingly soft, which made you slightly shiver before retracting your hand.

Don't be scared.

He smirked at you then thanked you.

"You're welcome" you mumbled, then headed back to the kitchen with an empty plate, cursing yourself for always being awkward around him.

He was the typical tall, dark, and handsome type, a little broody and quiet, but his eyes were what drew you to him. They were a bright blue, almost silver at times whenever you spoke with him, and his teeth were perfectly straight and gleaming white. He was wearing an all-black perfectly tailored suit that fit him just fine. He had all the qualities of someone you would be interested in, but he was completely out of your league.

You wondered why a man like him kept coming to eat at the small-town greasy spoon diner you worked at. He seemed like the type who would fit in better at a fancy restaurant in the city, or at an expensive hotel bar next to a piano player with a beautiful woman at his side.

"You got anything planned tonight Y/n?" asked your friend and fellow server Nat who was re-filling the sugar packets.

You kept an eye on your handsome corner booth man.

Oh, you have a big night ahead of you, Y/n, just a little longer then my plan will come together. Until then, love.

"Nah, probably just go home and watch some TV. Got a few episodes left of that crime documentary to finish"

"I don't know how you watch all those weird shows" she shuddered.

You headed over to the booth to collect your money, chuckling to yourself. You went to reply to Nat but felt a breeze of air whip by you. You shook your head then turned to get the money, but the booth was empty; the handsome man was gone.

You scratched your head as you heard the jangle of the door close.

I've got your phone. My plan is in place

Must have left when you turned to speak to Nat, so you shook your head.

"Meh, I don't mind all that gore and stuff" you shrugged holding the cash.

The handsome man left you a nice tip like always making you smile.

The rest of your shift ended without issues, but you had the feeling you were being watched. Some nights you didn't feel it, but others, you felt like there were eyes on you.
