Stiles hugs Melissa with all of his might. They sit down and Melissa tells him what she knows, and Stiles adds to some things.

"The pack, has been on my tail because they wanted to see you." Melissa chuckles. "Really?" She nods. "The first night you were here, Scott sneaked in, and he was in your room for about two hours until I chased him out. I told the pack they would overwhelm you and put a dent in your recovery."

Stiles chuckles at the image of Scott passed out in one of the chairs. "When are you going back to school?" She asks. "Tomorrow." "Wow, are you nervous?" "Very." "Can you do me a favor Stiles?" "Sure." "Go to your house and rest. Tomorrow is a big day; you need to be rested if something happens with your dad, I'll let you know."

Stiles knew better than to argue with Melissa, so he said, "Only if you promise me not to tell the pack about my dad or about extense of my injuries." "Why?" "Because they will try to help, and they will just make it worse." Melissa nods. "Stiles?" "Yeah?" He asked. "Chemo is expensive, plus all the debt you have, how will you get the money? Can you ask Derek? He'll be happy to lend it to you."

"I'll figure something out, don't worry about it." "But I do worry." She speaks.

They talk for a few more time before Stiles changes clothes, grabs the stuff he had on him when they took him to the hospital and takes a cab to his house.

Stiles gets to his room and yells; he runs a hand through his hair and stars tearing down the posters. He changes the blanket, moves around the desk, when he finished this room doesn't look like Stiles's. He places Minho's watch and Chuck's wooden figure on his desk, opens his laptop, hacks the Sheriff station online database and tries to find not just their parents but also Newt's.

After three hours, nothing. He calls it a day and heads to sleep. Sleep won't grasp him. It never does.

He leaves his house and turns on his jeep wishing it would work. It does.  Stiles heads to an ATM and withdraws money.

He heads out of town into the next town and drives to a Target. He gets there, he looks for cigarettes, a sketchbook, some drawing pencils, a pen and a burner phone. The cashier looks at him funny but rings him up, nonetheless.

After that he drives around for a while, deciding to stop on a tattoo parlor. He doesn't want to forget and last time he checked tattoos are pretty permanent.

He sits down on a chair and asks for a few tattoos.

When the tattoo artist finished, she scanned all of his scars and new tattoos and said that they were on the house. Stiles rolled his eyes grabbed his shirt and left.

A creepy man waited outside his jeep. "Hey kid. Want an easy way to make money?" the man asked. "No thanks." Stiles said taking his jeep keys out. The guy hands him a flyer which Stiles refuses until he sees the title. 'Car race gambling' Stiles grabbed the flyer and raised his eyebrows to the man. "You go to this place, place a gamble, it's imposible to lose. Its foolproof." the guy explained.

"If you race you win a whole lot more of money." The guy added. "And if i want to race?" "With this car you'll lose kid." "And if i want to race?" Stiles repeated with a growl that would have made Derek proud. "Call this number, and I guess good luck kid." The man left.

Stiles drove home, it was three a.m and he hoped into the shower, he came out looking at his new tattoos and grin tucked his lips.

He had all of the survivors' names on his torso along with group.  He had on his ribs 'the ivy trio N+T+M'. He had an anti-possession rune on his chest. On his collarbone he had 'victims have graves, survivors have scars.' On his wrist a semi-colon. On his shoulder blade an 'Icarus the fool' tattoo. On his waist 'the right person, wrong time. The right script, the wrong line. The right poem, wrong rhyme, and a piece of you that was never mine.'

On his lower back 'That's all hope is. It's a lie we tell ourselves so that we can break watches and pretend time is dead.' On his forearm 'Μου λείπεις' which is Greek and means 'you are missing from me.'  On the other side of his waist is 'a la folie.' which is French and means 'to insanity.'

On his lower back 'Vulpes pilum mutat, non mores.' which is Latin and means 'a fox may change its skin but never it's character.'

On his other shoulder blade is 'Icarus should have waited for nightfall, the Moon would have never let him go.'

On the other side of his torso is 'Grief is an amputation, but hope is an incurable hemophilia: you bleed and bleed and bleed.'

He admires the tattoos, placed a shirt on and grabbed the target bag. He climbed out the window wincing and sat on the roof.  He lit a cigarette grabbed the flyer and his burner phone, he called the guy and sign himself up for the race.
