His Tome of Apotheosis Alliance uniform is the default uniform with a red coat worn over it. ________ Personality Diocles is well-mannered, strict, and professional, and is the person responsible for leading investigations, handling information, communicating with individuals who are considered persons of interest, interviewing witnesses and gathering intel through various methods, as well as collecting physical evidence and fragments of the Tome of Apotheosis.
He is also responsible for dealing with the legal side of the Tome of Apotheosis Alliance's operations and explaining the laws under which the Alliance's operations are conducted to individuals who are unaware of the existence of these laws.
As a person who spends most of his time at work, heavily involved in socio-legal proceedings, Diocles's personality has almost completely disappeared, making him robotic and more similar to an artificial intelligence than to a person.
This can be both a pro and a con, as he can keep his composure even during stressful situations and never lets emotions cloud his judgment, however, he often ends up being overly formal during informal occasions, which has landed him in a few awkward situations, and usually completely avoids being emotional, which makes him seem like a very strange person in many people's eyes. _______ Backstory Diocles was a motherless child. His mother had passed away soon after he was born. He was raised by his single father, Nikos, who loved him dearly, but rarely showed signs of affection towards him.
This is due to the fact that Nikos, just like his son, was a motherless child. His mother passed away from an incurable illness when he was a toddler, and he was raised by an unaffectionate single father who valued his career more than his family. Deep down, Nikos always knew that his father loved him, but he never knew how parents usually expressed love towards their children.
Due to this, Diocles was always cold as ice. He was a polite and kind-hearted person, but, he was almost never emotional due to the fact that he was taught to never show his emotions in front of others and to bottle them up.
Diocles's early life was entirely occupied by studies. When he wasn't at school or doing homework, he would read school books or encyclopedias, leading to him being very knowledgeable, but dry and lacking creativity and imagination.
He was always a straight-A student. After graduating from school, he attended a prestigious university in Heliopolis, which was, coincidentally, the same university where Avril studied. They rarely crossed paths and interacted only briefly.
