Appearance
Atom, also known as Adam, is a slender young man of average height. He has silver hair with mint-green highlights, mint-green eyes, and pale skin. He wears a Castleton green T-shirt with a mint-green atom symbol on the chest area and mint-green stripes on the hem and ends of the sleeves. He also wears leggings of a darker shade of green than his shirt and white sneakers with mint-green accents. His accessories are a mint-green atom symbol and a mint-green nuclear energy symbol on black cords of different lengths. He wears a black wristwatch with an atom symbol on the clock face on his left wrist.

Personality
Atom is a person who eagerly starts up conversations and isn't shy around people. He's usually very confident, with fairly good social skills and without fear of societal judgment.

He doesn't care about what strangers think of him, and thinks that first impressions are unimportant, as they are based on superficial knowledge of the person and are almost never correct. He thinks that getting a person to know you better and making a good impression later on is much more important than making a good first impression.

He can often be very straightforward and outspoken, not attempting to soften his words or use different phrasing to make what he says sound more palatable. He is blunt in conversations, and expresses his emotions openly, regardless of whether they are negative or positive, which makes him very similar to Zhangqiong, in that they both call a spade a spade and never try to cover up the true meaning of their words.

Backstory
Adam is the descendant of a famous atomic scientist from Destreza. His father was also an atomic scientist, and he was named Adam, because it sounded like "atom", and his parents wanted him to pursue a career in atomic science once he grew up.

Due to the reason for his naming and due to how his name was pronounced by him and those close to him, certain documents had his name marked as "Atom" instead of "Adam", which is how Atom became his name.

He was very similar to his father in terms of personality: straightforward, confident, and brutally honest. He didn't care about how he made himself sound, even if he made himself sound rude, which got him into trouble with a lot of people who didn't approve of his attitude. However, he never cared about this either.

Despite often sounding impolite, usually not on purpose, Atom was never a bad person. He genuinely cared about his friends and family, and always wanted to cheer them up.

While studying at a university in Heliopolis, Atom met Henriette, and they quickly became friends despite their contrasting personalities. Atom cheered Henriette up and helped her stick up for herself, while Henriette helped Atom cool down and helped him avoid going into bursts of rage and getting into trouble due to his treatment of others.

They met again when they both joined the Tome of Apotheosis Alliance, and worked together ever since.

A multi-sequence sword slash that deals Physical DMG and Air DMG intermittently. The last sequence decreases enemies' Movement and ATK SPD by 10% for 5s.

Performs multiple rapid AOE slashes, knocking enemies away and dealing Physical and Air DMG intermittently.

Evade - Atomic Distancing

Dashes forward to dodge enemy attacks. Can be performed twice in a row.

Ultimate Evasion: Applies Time Lock to surrounding enemies for 5s. Once the duration of Time Lock ends, enemies' Movement and ATK SPD is decreased by 20% for 5s.

CD: 10s.

Ultimate - Atomic Chain Reaction

Detonates atoms within the enemy, dealing Physical DMG and inflicts Connectivity, starting a Chain Reaction SEQ.

Connectivity: The enemy takes one instance of Physical DMG and DoT Air DMG every 0.5s for 10s.

Chain Reaction: Connectivity DoT inflicts Connectivity on enemies near the enemy affected by Connectivity within a 20-meter radius.

The duration of Connectivity on every enemy is independent of other durations.

Ultimate cost: 50 SP. CD: 30s.

Weakness Discovered: Atom deals 60% more DMG to enemies affected by Connectivity.

Acceleration: After using Ultimate or triggering Ultimate Evasion Skill, Atom's Movement and ATK SPD is increased by 25% for 10s.

Ionic Power: Upon triggering Ionization, Atom's Total DMG is increased by 50% for 10s. Cannot stack (triggering it again during the duration resets the duration).

Additional Information
• Atom's design is loosely based on Alhaitham, a character from a video game called Genshin Impact.
• Atom's element was originally supposed to be Electric, however, it was changed to Air due to the abundance of Electric characters in Tome of Apotheosis.
• The meaning of Atom is "uncuttable", while the meaning of Adam is "son of red earth".
-Due to Atom ending up in multiple life-or-death situations and surviving, the name Atom could be used to mean "unkillable", while his original name could be used to mean "son of Destreza", due to Destreza's violent history, and, thus, its earth becoming red with blood.
