I was walking up the stairs towards Meko's room and I tripped on one of the steps . I was too focused on what happened between Jody and me to notice the step there . I got up and made sure there wasn't any scratches on my legs and made my way towards her door .

I opened the door and peeked my head in . She was laying there , sleep . Dried up tear stains on her pillow and face and her hair was messed up . I took a picture of her but I forgot the flash was on and she woke up .

Meko : delete it .
Tee : never * laughs *
Meko : If I get out this bed , I promise imma hurt you now delete it .
Tee : fine , damn . * deletes picture * so , I heard there is this live ass party going on today and you know we got invited .
Meko : hell yeah , but you think Sgt Jody will let us go ?
Tee : * laughs * hell nah , but it's worth a try in asking him . He taking a shower , but if he say no , we can always sneak out .
Meko : really , tee ? Sneak out ? My brother know us , he know we would try some shit like that .
Tee : nah , he leaving us . He " trust " us to stay here and not go anywhere .

I couldn't help but think of what happened in the kitchen . Meko was talking but I wasn't listening . It felt so right to have his hands touch me but I know it was so wrong . What would she think of me & Jody ? I thought . I was so into my thoughts that I didn't notice Jody & Meko staring at me .

Tee : can I have my face back ?
Meko : what was you thinking of ?
Tee : huh? Oh , nothing important . * looks at Jody *
Jody : * starts smiling * anyways , what you guys wanna talk about ?
Meko : well , umm .. We just wanted to know --
Tee : we got invited to a party and we were wondering if we could go ?
Jody : * laughs * hell no . Didn't I tell yall to stay here ? I'm trusting yall to stay here and not go anywhere . You understand ?
Tee & Meko : * mumbles *
Jody : what you say ? Speak up .
Tee : man , nothing damn . Go enjoy the party . We goin stay here and watch some fuckin movies .

I looked him up and down . He looked good , good enough for me to jump on him right now but I keep telling myself , that's my bestfriend's brother . Jody left the room and I noticed Meko staring at my neck . I remembered Jody gave me a hickey and I ran to the bathroom in her room . Fuck !? I thought .
