I am sitting in my English 3 class , listening to the teacher until I hear mine and Tee's name coming from a group of guys in the back of the room . I tune out the teacher and start listening to what they are saying .

" yeah , yeah .. But yall didn't see the way she handled his ass in the hallway " this guy named Chance said , I think . I wonder what they are talking about and who my girl had to handle ? " shawty bad asf tho & so is her homegirl " said AJ . I kept listening until I heard Mrs. Johnson calling my name . " Yes ma'am ? " I said in my most nicest voice . " since you don't want to pay attention , tell us what page we are on . " she said with a smirk across her face . Damn it , I thought .

I knew she did this shit on purpose and I was about to tell her it too but Chance opened his mouth and saved her & me . I looked over my shoulder at him and he winked at me . I just laughed and went back to doing my work .

I was in " work Meko " as my sister Tee calls it . I was working on this worksheet hard since English is my hardest subject .. I know , I know . You speak English , how are you not good at ? Heard that shit before and I still don't know .

I get up as the bell goes off letting us know that it's third period . As I'm walking , I feel someone grab my arm and I look to see who it could possibly be and its Chance's dumbass , grinning hard as hell . I look at him like he stupid & I guess he noticed the look cause he said " that face is not cute on you , ma . " I rolled my eyes at him cause I had places to be and he was wasting my time . " what do you want , chance ? " I asked with attitude all in my voice . " I want you & yo girl Tee to come to a real nigga's birthday party . " I looked at him like he lost his damn mind but finally gave in and said fine .
