"Alvin! I'm not going to ask you again- pay attention!" Miss Smith called out when she saw Alvin making a paper airplane and throw it from the back of the class. It was only 9:04 am and Alvin was already disturbing the class."Now who has the answer to this equation?" Miss Smith asked as she held up her piece of chalk. "Anyone besides Simon? Alvin, what is the answer?" She asked impatiently.
"Oh, that!" Alvin said caught off guard. "It's um... France?" He said hesitantly.
"Alvin you're in math class!" Miss Smith shouted. "I want you here in front of the class! Take the seat next to Brittany now."
'Great now I'm stuck with Brit,' Alvin thought to himself and he took the seat next to her. Once he got seated class resumed. Alvin sat there in the front with Brittany on his left-hand side he gave her a mischievous grin but Brittany simply rolled her eyes and continued taking notes.
Alvin sat back as he looked at the chalkboard when he smelt something beautiful. He discreetly looked over in Brittany's direction and sniffed. 'Brittany smells really... good,' Alvin thought to himself. He took a better look at her, 'she's pretty too,' Alvin thought as his cheeks began to slightly blush. 'What are you talking about? Alvin snap out of it you guys hate each other!' He looked over to see Brittany writing her note in a pink pen- he hadn't noticed that she was left-handed, her right arm rested at the edge of her desk that was connected to Alvin's desk.
"Y'know you should write some of this down," Brittany whispered to him.
"Oh right!" Alvin said embarrassingly pulled out a piece of paper and began to write. 'Did she know I was looking at her? Ya Alvin real smooth move.' He started writing for a little bit but couldn't help but look at Brit she was just so beautiful.
"Alright," Miss Smith said, "Today's class will be a quiet work period. I want you guys to finish up any work that you aren't done and if you are do pages 19 to 22." The class got busy pulling out their books and starting their work.
Alvin accidentally brushed his arm against Brittany's left arm, "oh sorry," he whispered as he shyly pulled it away.
Brittany's eyes widen, "that's okay," she said as looked at Alvin with a soft smile. Alvin rested his arm on the side of his desk nervously.
'What the heck is wrong with me?' He asked himself. 'Why am I being so weird?!'
Just then Brittany brushed her arm against Alvin's arm purposely she held it there and didn't move it. Alvin's face was growing red. He glanced over at her to see her reaction from what he could tell it was the same as his. They sat in the silent classroom secretly sharing a moment. Something so small as their arms touching made his heart race.
It had been a while and neither of them had pulled away. Alvin then leaned his leg over to touch Brittany's knee. She gave out a little chuckle as she glanced over at him. Alvin tried his best to keep his cool but gave her a crooked smile, she thought it was adorable. For the first time, he wanted to be near Brit, to be close to her. She leaned her knee over to Alvin's, they beamed at each other as they slowly fell in love with one another.
They sat in the silent class together arm to arm and knee to knee paying no attention to anyone else but each other. To Alvin's surprise, Brittney linked her pinky to his. It was something that is found so cute-
Just then the bell just rang. Brittany snapped out of it and pulled away from Alvin, which made him disappointed for once that class was over. She grabbed her books and ran out of the classroom leaving Alvin speechless.
'Did- did I do something wrong?' Alvin thought to himself as he placed his book into his bag. He then placed his bag on his back and ran out into the halls to find Brittany. Once he made it into the halls he looked around to find Brittany just then he felt someone poke his shoulder, he turned around to see a pink-faced Brittany.
"Hey," Alvin said as she placed a hand on the back of his neck.
"Hi," Brit said lightly, "I was just wondering if you'd want to sit with me in history," she said shyly. "Y 'know so we can help each other out with the assignments!"
"Ya sure," Alvin said playing along, "for the assignments."
Brittany giggled, "I'll see you there," she said as she tipped his hat and walked away.
"What just happened?" Alvin asked himself as he began to smile happily.
