"Jeanette!" Alvin said as he ran after her through the empty halls, "Jeanette wait!"It had been lunch when the 'ancient' happened. Alvin and Derek were having an argument the entire school had their eyes on them when Jeanette tried to split the fight Derek shoved Alvin into Jeanette casing their lips to accidentally touch.
"Jeanette, wait- Jean stop!" Alvin acclaimed as he continued running after her, lucky he was getting close. Once Derek had pushed him he knew what going to happen- Alvin truly didn't mean for it to happen. Once he pulled away Jeanette just ran for it.
"Jean!" Alvin grabbed her small hand, "I just wanna talk, " he said sincerely.
"Alvin you just embarrassed me in front of the whole school!" Jean cried out.
"But I wasn't my fault!" Alvin protested as he turned Jeanette around to face him. "Derek was the one who-"
"It still happened!" Jeanette shrieked. Alvin had never seen her act like this her face was completely red and she looked as though she was about to burst into tears. He wasn't sure if anything he'd say would help. "Everyone saw Alvin!"
Alvin really didn't know what to say, she looked so confused and miserable. "It was just a stupid kiss, everyone will have forgotten about it by the end of the day!" He declared as he shot his arms through the air.
"What about Simon and Brittany? Words going to get out sooner or later," Jeanette asked as she approached Alvin.
'I haven't even though about them!' Alvin panicked to himself "it was an accident!"
"It's still gonna hurt Simon to know that you-" her words were cut off by her crying again. Alvin hadn't thought about that, did Simon see what happen? Would he understand what it was an accident? Was it really such a bad thing-
Jeanette then ran to the end of the halls, "Jeanette please wait!" Alvin said as he jogged to Jeanette's side. "I'm sorry-"
"I just," Jeanette said hesitantly, "nevermind."
"No no tell me," Alvin said as he lowered his head to meet her gaze.
Jeanette looked down to the floor as she mangled the words in her mind, "that was my first kiss," she said awkwardly.
Alvin's face turned pink as he looked away from Jeanette he then fixed the brim of his hat as he admitted to something very embarrassingly, "mine too."
Jeanette looked up to face Alvin, "really?!" she said in disbelief.
"Ya," Alvin said with a crooked grin (hoping that it would cheer up Jeanette), "so you shouldn't feel embarrassed- we're in this together!" Jeanette gave out a little smile it made her feel less alone in this situation but it still didn't change the fact that they kissed.
Alvin then realized that he was glad he had his first kiss with Jeanette, he felt comfortable being around her. With Brittany, he felt as though he had to act macho but with Jean, he could be himself. He could still be the reckless guy but also sweet, he felt Brittany just bossed him around. Jean made him happy... She was really sweet and pretty and-
"Well... Thanks, Alvin y' know for being so understanding, " Jeanette said as she rocked back and forth. "I know you didn't mean to so we'll just forget about this whole fiasco okay?" She said innocently.
Alvin felt crushed after she said that. He didn't want to forget he thought that she liked him, he thought they were-
"Oh yea sure, " he mumbled.
"Thanks, Alvin I really appreciate it, " Jeanette said relived as she placed her hand on Alvin's shoulder. "Well, I'll see you later! Let's just forget all about it!" And with that, she skipped away.
"Ya, " Alvin murmured to himself heartbroken, "let's just forget all about it."
